Blizzard gives the alliance high elves. Are you negatively affected?

Alliance got Void Elves, the damage has been done and I don’t think there’s any realistic way to undo it.

The reason for so many suddenly being around is the quarantine is keeping everyone home, so what else are they going to do?

Well, whatever the Horde gets alongside them would no doubt be infinitely more interesting, especially to the crowd that doesn’t care about or actively dislikes High Elves, and I’m not prepared for those forum threads.

So, yes, I’d most likely be negatively affected.

I like it. This could work.

The Kirin Tor have been leaning closer to the Alliance’s ideals than to the Horde’s since before Blood Elves even existed.

I’m already here, dudes…

I groaned but still enjoyed it. Great pun!

Why does this apply solely to high elves and not:

Gnomes
Mechagnomes
Draenei
Lightforged Draenei
Void Elves
Darkspear Trolls
Bloodhoof Tauren
Highmountain Tauren
Bilgewater Goblins
Vulpera
Mag’har Orcs
And let’s be real, even the green ones should be near extinct too; in fact, this is a running theme with Horde races. The idea they can consistently pose a military threat to the Alliance with such an obvious numerical disadvantage is farcical.

About as much as it would affect you if Blizzard gave the Horde Night Elves, Humans or Worgen.

Out of curiosity, why those races?

Elf for elf, icon for icon

Considering the High Elves people ask for already are a part of the Alliance in lore and the Horde and their players have actively participated in battles against them in-game:

It’s factitious to say that it would affect you now more than ever considering you’re already aware, as a Horde player, that there is an against to your Blood Elves and that High Elves exist on the Alliance and you actively fight against them.

They’re already there, you just want to pretend they somehow take from you, when the High Elf request has suggestions to not again “carbon copy” a race.

Except for the Icon of the Alliance is not Night Elves, it’s humans, and the Icon of the Horde is Orc, not Blood Elf.

What the player base represents, game wise, does not equal what is “iconic” to Horde and Alliance.

There’s a reason our most popular capital cities are Stormwind and Orgrimmar

Well high elves are alliance already, just not playable. There aren’t any worgen groups or night elf groups associated with the horde.

There are a couple of human groups though.

The brain rot that the Forsaken suffers from…

The Blood Elves have long evovled from the High Elves. You might want to move on with them.

Personally I feel if you open the floodgates to giving the whiners what they want in every scenario, you’re just inviting more whining when they realize that’s a valid avenue for getting everything they want.

I’m on Moon Guard.

I’d be drowning in knife ear’d paladins.
It would be hell.
