Blizzard gives the alliance high elves. Are you negatively affected?

Oh, I was making a joke that all of Chronicles is a lot of backtracking and rewriting of histories. I think Blizzard aren’t shy about it is all.

BfA’s story was…strange sometimes, but not bad imo.

Not quite stories but the maps in the chronicles sometimes conflict themselves, look at how the maps of Kul Tiras and Zandalar change.

Well, to put this in perfect sense, the story with BfA was implented at the wrong timing, and it feel like huge parts of it was just never told in game, but just confirmed either here on the forums or in a book. And it has led the BfA story into a confusing tale. Mind you, there is still huge gaps within the story, which is leaving people confused.

i might be negatively affected but i support your right to play high elves regardless just because it makes sense in the lore for there to be high elf heroes.

Yeah, the Chronicles were sorely needed because there’s so much expansion been done that points to something in history, that they needed to look back and shape that history to make sense.

That kind of practice that they’ve always done makes topics like… well, high elves, as an example, a little bit difficult for discussion. You’ve got ancient lore stating this, more recent lore alluding to something else, dev statements saying something casually and everyone clings onto one phrase or word and runs with it.

Let’s also appreciate how much better the maps of Zandalar and Kul Tiras were made by Chronicle Three, they look way better now. Especially Kul Tiras imo.

I’d be afflicted by more BElves, most of who are men with women chars in really skimpy mogs. Not that I’d be bothered if you got them but I would be negatively affected.

I linked it because someone asked, and if you took the time to read all the posts you would see i retracted that statement. But you just seem like you want a fight and in some reason winning this fight will grant you your high elves?

Don’t shoot me… But I’m fine with void elves. In fact, they’re my favorite allied race. They’re very similar in design to Drow from DnD, the idea of a void themed race is very cool to me, and they’re hot. I have a few minor suggestions in terms of racials and customization, but I really do think that, for an allied race blizzard clearly pulled out of their *** to please the people who want high elves, they’re really cool.

This type of behavior doesn’t belong on a discussion forum.

Just letting you know that calling other people derogatory names is against the forum rules and no amount of excuses you think you have allows it.

aww did i hurt your feelings? im sorry. didnt realize you were a snowflake
trolls deserve nothing less. if they are gonna come on hear and just cause problems

Don’t let all these arguments make you feel like you can’t share your thoughts/feelings on the matter. I have 2 Void Elves myself, I’m just looking forward to some interesting lore from them.

Hero race, like Demon Hunters.

I am surprised that the group of Blood Elves that came to the Alliance is so huge, though, because Void Elves are everywhere.

Basically I’d also think they’d be reproducing. And since the rumors of a timeskip happening in Shadowlands is around, we could come up to many High Elves (playable) after reproducing.

Therefore, High Elves as hero race for Shadowlands. Lifting the restriction of 1 per server after Shadowlands.

Do we get high elves though?

Just make it a customization option, if anything. I mean the story involvement of your race is pretty minimal already. Create glyphs that change void abilities to arcane, visually. It shouldn’t be hard.

As far as races, I’d rather get something completely new, like Dryads.

You’re really gonna upset all the people with various ways of spelling Legolas sitting on their character creation screen.

That’s Cybermen.

Yeah, right.

Dude, there are already tons of things in the game that don’t make sense. Like carrying around 5 backpacks full of stuff everywhere you go, fighting things as a fire mage in the forest and somehow not causing forest fires, pulling arrows/bullets out of thin air, and don’t even get me started on mounts.
