There are no GMs on the forums though. The CS forum is an Information Desk to help guide folks through the ticket system, explain policies, explain account services, etc. A great place to ask how to approach something, find out if a GM can even help, and what the best way to get that help is. Reduces a ton of frustration.

I hate that it is NEEDED, but yeah. The blues there can see a lot about actual accounts which lets them answer questions and give great guidance on things. Even if it is not an answer people sometimes want to hear.

Because there are things the GMs don’t help with, and never have. They try not to let you open a ticket for those things. They don’t take bug reports, they don’t give game hints, they don’t do things that there are now self help tools for. They literally gave players some of the GM tools like item restore, char undelete, unstuck (at least a first try), etc.

It sucks not being able to talk to a human. I agree. I get why companies do it, but it is not GOOD CS. All anyone can do here is explain how to use the system that does exist, for all its drawbacks.

Maybe because he thinks the company could improve one day? Maybe because he really likes the game and wants to see the support improve? That’s what complaints and feedback are for.

No, this sort of thing predates AI by years. It’s poorly paid boiler room staff getting evaluated by how many tickets they can clear, trying to speed read and close tickets as quickly as possible, often using preformatted response templates.

Also hating a video game company is over-emotional nonsense. It’s a group of people making a video game. Sometimes they make stupid decisions. At the end of the day it’s cheap entertainment. It ain’t that serious, champ.

This is the way. I’m honestly not sure how I’m able to post. I thought they disabled that ability when your sub lapsed.

I doubt AI is that stupid. More like someone Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V copied premade posts into tickets.

I hate AI as much as anyone else but Chatgpt isn’t as dense as some would believe.

The customer support is non existent. You are on your own with your glitch’s and bugs and wipes. They won’t help you.

The forum software does not update in real time. It can actually be quite a while before the account status is reflected in forum functions. This is true when adding a Sub, removing a sub, or being suspended from the game.

It takes a while for the forums to catch up. Eventually, if you don’t have a Sub you will only be able to post on the Support section of the forums and New Player I think.

yah i’m getting tired of people sticking up for their customer service in droves.
It’s garbage and has been for the past few years.
It’s obvious that they cut staff and dont prioritize it like at all.

The forums are rife with stories about getting terrible responses from customer service that dont even remotely answer the question asked. Often the respones we get are copy-pasta crap that doens’t pass the smell test.

not the most helpful but after i get a ai response i tent to just reopen it and say read the ticket and do your job. usually 3 more tickets are whats needed to get a human and then the problem gets fixed. once they got rid of the call in customer service the quality went down to rock bottom

At least you got a response, we had to fish for responses to the great guild bank blizzard robbery on the EU forums, they wouldn’t even respond to tickets.
