You know, some people may have cared about it. But yes, the vast majority didn’t use it. Like I saw maybe 5 lock players between legion and now that used it. That being said, this thread is stupid.
I mean yeah. You remove anything from the game and people will complain. I complained about the removal of emotes. I don’t actually care about them but I deemed it stupid
You seriously need to get over this obsession you have.
This comment doesn’t even make sense.
Who is going to talk about their pet for no reason whatsoever?
Do hunters come on this forum all the time and talk about their pet?
This is the most nonsensical point and you got called on it in the last thread where you attacked people.
Maybe take a step back, okay?
No one’s going to talk about pet when there’s nothing to talk about with their pet. It’s just their pet.
Would you like me to come here and tell you all about all of the times I went into dungeons with my pet or something?
Seriously, this nonsense is out of hand now. People are allowed to dislike a pet they used for a decade being deleted— both as an option and because it’s another glyph deleted from Inscription.
And we didn’t talk about said emotes beforehand. What were we supposed to do, make a topic once a day about how we used an emote?
I don’t have a horse in this race, but I’m not going to crucify people for caring that they’re losing something. I imagine the reason it wasn’t mentioned much in the past is because it was assumed that it was safe, and warranted no reason for a forum post.
Instead of trying to convince you of something any toddler would know, I am going to use an analogy to get my point across.
Imagine, if you will, you are just minding your own business and one day you hear on the news that the powers that be decided that due to whatever bullcrap reason, they were set to remove your ding-a-ling at a specific date. You are sad, angry even! You protest outside the courthouse for days, because why is your ding-a-ling such a problem that it needs to be removed? You get some supporters stating that your ding-a-ling shouldn’t be removed!
But a smug jerk says to you, “Why do you care about your ding-a-ling? You never protested before it was announced to be removed, so this outrage must be fake!”
Replace all instances of ding-a-ling with Observer.
Why would we bring up the Observer constantly if it weren’t gonna be removed? That is where your argument completely falls apart. The reason why the Observer wasn’t being talked about before they stated the removal was because there wasn’t a reason to talk about it. It’d be like talking randomly about Shield Bash, or Slam, or Rampage.
Go. Back. To. School and learn how to think, because your brain is as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
I really don’t think a toddler would understand what an Observer pet is, let alone WoW in general. They’d probably cry for being shown the pet cause its scary and you didn’t
let them watch their Hey Bear! movie show.
My dude, if you compared a cosmetic pet that is just made of pixels, compared to something drastic like a surgery, you really need to step away from WoW in general
(at least thats what I hope you are referring to)
because if you were that infatuated by the observer, you would have suggested something before May 30th “Hey blizzard! Warlock folks would like to have another cool skin like you guys did with the succubus!”
thats is where yours and others rant falls apart
Shield Bash is a pvp talent, once a ability pre Catacylsm, luckily its being talked about in the classic forums
wow look at that guy, asking advice about his macros and shield bash in it
Rampage and Slam are mentioned in the warrior forums when people ask about said rotations
You literally found one thread and not even anything relevant to your claims.
And why aren’t you up in the Water Elemental threads insulting people and attacking them with this bs? I’m sensing a large amount of trolling and hypocrisy.
Whether it was used en masse or not, that doesn’t really matter. It could have simply been added to the list of upcoming customization options. Not really a fan of removing glyphs though. I’ve always enjoyed those for any class, but this could have been a mostly everyone wins scenario. Instead, they opted to just delete it. That said, there’s a very real possibility that they could do just that later. We will just have to wait and see.
Do I really need to spell it out how absurd it is that to be an advocate about something that is set to be removed is the ability to know that you needed to be an advocate of that thing PRIOR to the announcement of its removal? Are you really that dense? I mean, HAD I known that I needed to advocate for the Observer BEFORE they even announced that they were removing it, I WOULD HAVE! But I was not a fricking psychic, I DID NOT KNOW THAT THEY WERE GOING TO REMOVE THE OBSERVER UNTIL THEY ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WERE GOING TO REMOVE THE OBSERVER! Why the heck would I needed to have that information before hand to care now?
You know what? I don’t care about this discussion anymore. You have proven to be someone that I don’t respect, and shall never EVER respect.
No, I suggested if you were infatuated by your Observer pet, you would have shown evidence that you loved your pet vs the felhunter pet alternative, prior to 10.1.5, no, prior to Dragonflight. with evidence backing you up that you really enjoyed having your observer pet pre 10.1.5, then yes, your rants will be justified
all I pointed out is, almost all the rants said between June and now, none of them really didn’t care about the observer UNTIL the announcement, not because they’re sad, because its “fuel” to jab Blizzard
I’m not the one who resorted to middle school/high school freshmen/sophomore insults
not hypocrisy because their pet became a better passive vs what they had previously
but for warlocks case, they get much much better and deserved skins for their warlock pets
you really don’t have anything else to say cause you lost your argument
Your argument is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen on this forum in a long time.
Absolutely hypocrisy. You belittle and insult people caring about the Observer being removed as a pet but you don’t do the same to Mages, “because I like the change.” It’s not a pet anymore. It’s a passive. People can’t use it constantly, people don’t have a pet. People can’t RP with it. Water elemental as a standalone pet is gone.
Same situation.
You just have a weird vendetta against people who care about a Warlock pet but don’t care about the Water Elemental.
Absolutely hypocrisy.
Yes you absolutely lost your argument way back in the other thread before you became so obsessed to make another one.
No, Its weird that people ignored the best changes for warlocks including a revamp of new cosmetics for their pets, over 1 pet that hasn’t been changed
I literally walked through moon guard alliance just to see if people were really that upset, especially to the park, there is only 1 mage out of some I seen with their water elemental
