I have two Loque’nahak. I changed their names to Thelma & Louise.
My retail main has a saber named Whitefang (with sort of a nod to Soupy Sales). My hunter in Wrath has a (Draenei) ravager name Nightmere. I have a 3-headed hydra I named LarryMoenCurley, a chimaera named ViciaHeinox (courtesy of Don Robert Hughes) and a shale spider named Shayla, to name a few.
i love theme names with animal companion, so on this hunter, two loques (thunder & lightning) or two argus panthara (starlight & moonlight, to go with the battle pet twilight). i also have two fire-horses named Beauty & Redrum. I also have two of those metallic cat pets named Damascus and Tamahagane, after specific kinds of sword steel, cuz i’m a neeeerd
on my orc, two armoured devilsaurs, mojave and kalahari (cuz lizards… deserts… it made sense at the time).
on my velf, two wolves, agnes and perditax (dual-boxed with an RAF character who had two more wolves called gytha and esmerelda, for any discworld fans)
lightforged draenei two molten iron horde wolves, hephaestus & vulcan
night elf two hawks, pins & needles
my EU hunter & my belf hunter both have two of those suramar mana sabers named kobayashi and kohoutek, because i thought their colouring looked a little like comets
and my sole MM hunter has (drumroll) Heroplz, a regular cat.

Two raptors; one named Tendon, and the other named Cartilage (my hunter’s name is Ligament). No idea why that became a theme for me; I wanted to name a character after an inanimate object, and Endtable and the like were taken.

My main pet is Skarr from Firelands. Got him shortly after the zone opened and immediately renamed him Under so when you clicked on him it would say Under <Paants’s pet>. Twelve years and not a single person had ever commented on it. Currently taking a sabbatical from WoW.
My bear is called bare.
I’ve got Marley, Pip, Pumblechook, Pocket, Magwitch and Jaggers.
When I play BM my two devilsaurs are Tiny and Tim. Or I have two undead raptors, Marley and Marley. Because when you can do a Charles Dickens AND Muppets Christmas Carol reference, you do it.
Most of my pets aren’t named, but the ones that are usually are inspired by childhood things (Like Emmet Otter, Riky Tiky Tavy, TipyToe) or somehow derived from their appearance, behavior, etc… (Spikey, Pins, Needles, Ridges, and GimpyBlues). Then there is a small number of names that I have no idea what inspired it, like Contessa.
my oldest mainstay pet is a hyena named scab. :]
my current expac pets are beepo the ottuk, ricky the slyvern, and diego the rockfang. i guess i was feeling silly names this time around

Un named wolf (originally named after my RL dog Kaizer who passed away recently so I took away the pet name so I dont put the poor thing through too much, paired with raven named “decoy”
A stand alone hawk called “mantis”
And a hyena (want to get a name from one of the ones from lion king) paired with a vulture who i also dont have a name for yet.
I think i might steal the name “tendon or ligamemt” from the guy above. Although “cartilage” the vulture sounds pretty cool too.
Dont mind if i steal one those for my vulture do ya skip? Haha

My vulpera has two clefthooves named Stumpy and Beefy. My mechagnome has two mechanowolves named Einstürzende and Neubauten after the german industrial band from the 80s.
I only for 2 pets and are mainly for PVP and use it for MS. My Hyenas is called Dntalowmebro
And my bird is called Dontkitemebro.
My Terrorpene turtle (rare ancient fire turtle near Fireland raid) is name Bowser!
