I’m sorry for complaining i know there’s a lot of posts about this and ofc there will be trolls that will reply because of boredom or because i posted as a rogue that is a brain dead class…i don’t blame them…but do you know what balancing is blizzard? for years you have been trying to fix classes but fixing them by buffing them making it even more brain dead or nerfing a class to which it is unplayable or enjoyable is not balancing…Balancing is adjusting by 1-3% not by 10-40% and giving classes broken traits/talents i get it adding new things to the game is amazing but its not fun when it breaks the game.
Releasing a game that is not even working correctly is probably your #2 reason why people are unsubscribing #1 is the above. Did you know most of the people i run into call this xpac Beta for Azeroth? that’s pretty sad if you ask me. You have a whole raid team disconnecting on Zul for what ever reason you have dungeons that are so buggy that has literally broke my guilds +12 shrine do to mobs teleporting to you after we all wiped and killing you a second time as well as teleporting people to them after the person has died…also have many people disconnecting during freehold…the sharks are extremely annoying when they get thrown onto you but completely ignore the closest person? and running to the healer hell people even run on top of the shark to make it aggro to them but nope it just jumps back and forth from you to the healer…you also have not fixed where aoe clips through walls that are on a complete different floor making us fight another 2 packs…like seriously? please do not release another xpac that is not ready i would rather wait another 2 years than play a buggy xpac…btw releasing a new shop mount will not get your subscribers back lmao…
Last thing on my mind is please for the love of the game LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY not your wallets…thats enough complaining for the day.

You should learn to read especially if you’re hanging around the forums.
His #1 reason the game is dying is not false. The game’s class balance is for sure out of whack. Even after class “fixes” and “tuning” we still see several specializations that are not even close to being finished - just as the BFA project as a whole is incomplete. BFA was released too early, it was very obvious to a majority of the player base - a lot of which left the game already, complaining or not. I’m in this same camp except I’ve been subscribed to BFA since launch and plan to continue until the wheels fall off. But just because I and a lot of other people still play BFA does not necessarily mean the game is anywhere near complete, balanced or polished.
Preach! We live an era where some of the most popular and beloved game developers are holding money as paramount. It’s the opposite of what needs to happen. CD Projekt Red and GGG are great examples of the opposite mentality - to make awesome gaming experiences for the gamers and to expect money to follow afterwards. Companies like those will never lose value, as EA, Activision, Bethesda and others have.

That’s not balancing. That’s arbitrary bollocks.
In a game balancing should be automatic. Done by the game engine itself.
The reason why WoW has never been balanced is because they’ve always done damage and heal by guess.

Wrong. The reason WOW has never been balanced is because one, there’s so many moving parts and two, the game developers do not do proper testing. Nor do they keep in good contact with the player base to receive and work upon constructive feedback. Communication is key.

Imagine that you do forecasting and prediction (ie planning) for your company. Your do the proper legwork and estimate your next project will run $100,000 for labor, parts, and installation.
If the total comes out to $103,000? You’re good.
If the total comes out to $140,000? Your boss is going to be asking some questions.

I’ve been wearing this title on my forehead proudly since BFA launched. The second any criticism comes out of me bad things are said to try and discredit me. And I’m very used to it. /shrug
Which reminds me of a quote from my favorite series, Game of Thrones.
This, in my estimation, is what Activision’s game making philosophy is nowadays - to put in minimal effort and resources into monetizing games as much and as quickly as possible. With a philosophy like this, I wonder how long they expect to remain in business and with a loyal customer base.

I laugh when I think about it. They nerfed our stats in the name of balance, and it’s anything but. Going from 6 mil hp to 20k overnight was the low point of the game for me. 2 mil dps to 4k. Lost abilties to artifacts and nothing added.

Another glaring example of the disconnect. Load up the launcher and patch downloads, but no information on what the download was? Even after they said we will do better at letting you know whats up? Why I think they have a skeleton crew, that is only able to do the barely minimum for WOW.

Simple and easier do not equate to better, Elynos.
You need to post some facts and arguments because you obviously want to defend BFA in its current state - for reasons that I’m very much interested in.

This is a boosted alt.i have four level to Max and seen entire xpac
You and your fellow game is dying types are the real shrills and trolls. By your logic anyone defending the game is paid to? Lol funny . How did we know you’re not paid by another mmo to trash talk wow all day long?
So I mostly agree. As a person who’s been here for a long long long time, I log In and just feel meh. They nerfed leveling exp a bit and it feels better at low levels but it still feels off. I did a handful of mythic plus on my prot paladin and he’s ready 358 without ever stepping into a raid. I have 0 Interest in uldir. The expansion feels more like cata to me than WoD. At least WoD kept me Interested because of class lore stuff. But idk how to fix where we are but I wish they would stop being so “no matter what we aren’t changing this!!” And be more “hey we’ll take a look and see if there’s a better way to do this”. But keep fighting the good fight and don’t let the trolls tell you you’re wrong.

I’m sorry, you can get by spamming whatever button in lfr but once you get up to the big boi level you have to actually play your class correctly which takes time and effort
Yes and the time and effort needed to play any specialization in BFA is so minuscule in comparison to what it took, lets say, 6-10 years ago. If there was any phase of WOW’s existence where a player could master every class and every specialization, it would be BFA - it’s never, ever been so easy.

If you don’t like the game, stop playing it. It is their property and they can do whatever they want with it.

And why even bother with you “big boi level” when the same gear can be had just afking in a WF. As I said its not harder. Blizzard made Raiding irrelevant. This is why so many Raiding guilds have died off. Adding tons of High health damage sponge Mobs is not makingit harder. Adding mechanics to a rraid fight that requires you to stack a certain class is not harder content. Its called poor game design.

Absolutely. It just seems to me that it would be detrimental to Blizzard’s name and Activision’s wallet that they’d hurt the game in any facet, as they’ve thoroughly done with BFA so far. The whole point is to communicate with the game developers. Voice our concerns so that positive change can happen. I don’t want WOW to die. I’ve loved this game and Blizzard’s name since 2006. Blizzard and Activision need to get better and they can’t if no one will call them out on their bull crap.

I would hardly say they ruined the game. There is tons of people playing it and don’t complain about every silly little thing. Where is your game you made?
