I have not had a chance to try level 8 solo yet, but I have done up to level 7 and really enjoyed it. I was only 567 when I did it.
I’ve been in a group with you. You’re not bad. lol. Stubborn? That you are. I took the path of least resistance cuz I’ll be doing them with people regardless. I just did them with more people earlier. My bff is raiding atm but I’ll have her carry me through some delves when she’s done. I have a pocket holy priest and BM hunter so I’ll be okay.
It sounds like the issue is that it’s limited.
People are hoarding keys and only doing bountiful delves on tier 8 because you only get a limited number of keys per week, so using them on anything less feels like a waste.
It would be like if you got a weekly number of dungeons that you could get gear from, and that count carried forward into future weeks. Normal and Heroic dungeons would be completely dead.

I like the Delves. If they could give Brann a brain that would be a nice change. Attack a critter… full out heals from Brann. Fight huge mob or boss… see him toss some bottles that dont pick up when you run over them. Those are my only complaints so far with Delves. Oh and that Brann is always in the way when trying to loot something

Oh, I am at challenge content. I never was able to do the Mists challenge modes, I failed our group. I didn’t even try Warlords. It took me the entire time the Mage Tower was available up until the last days to finally get the Resto and Balance Druid appearances.
I know my limits with challenge modes. lol

At least you try. I couldn’t be tempted to do any challenging content beyond +10s in shadowlands iirc. I wouldn’t even do a 0 with as hard as they’ve made dungeons since last tier of last expansion. Blizz can kiss my bejeweled behind.

Can’t interrupt? LoS (A lot). Blast Wave, Dragon’s Breath, spam sheep → ice lance until CS finishes the CD.
Thankfully, almost all enemies can be snared/rooted/sheeped, otherwise it would be impossible to clear T8+ at ilvl 585 and below.
My main issues with delves so far, at tier 8, are the unavoidable AoEs with high damage and the ~2M damage casts: every bolt (shadow bolt, death bolt, web bolt, rotten bolt etc.) does that much damage, and it’s kinda ridiculous to have to keep abusing LoS and KBs every time to survive. Worse still that CCs do not reset the enemy CD on the casts like counterspell does.
They’ll still be hard. T8 will only get truly easy this season if your effective HP (with barrier up) shoots up to over 10-12k, which won’t happen for mages this tier.
IMHO, I’d much rather have the roguelite design of Torghast with this reward system.
Only for PvP itself. Conquest gear is 1/8 Champion track, with no vault. Delves give you Hero track on the vault.

Ive so far been able to do level 8 delves solo on my 587 fury warrior without much of an issue.
Idk why ppl are complaining… they really arent that hard.
Would actually like to see them revisit 3 person scenarios tbh. Like the ones we had in Mop I mean. The one in bfa was ok, but not as rewarding as Mop imo. Mostly because no tanks or heals was required. Great to have one or the other in group but not needed. Doubt I’ll bother with delves much at all tbh, because it is still just another instanced mini dungeon. Still clinging to hope they add more actual open world stuff as a way for halfway decent solo player progression. Like what we had in Legion with invasions, and BFA faction assault type stuff. DF wasn’t to bad either once the weekly world events like Fryakks diciple were added. If not This will be another just wait until the final one or two content patches when all the catch up mechs are in
Wrong. It’s not balanced between each spec/class/hero talents. It’s not doable on some as solo, while super easy on others. Tanks are probably the easiest to do them in, and others have to group. I was excited for it. They felt fine, though lacking substance in tier 1-3. The only thing increased difficulty did was give stuff more HP and make it do more unavoidable dmg. It’s not good content, it’s an utter slog and it’s not balanced.
Between this and BG blitz MMR/CR being broken, and it being all RNG, and apparently having to learn all about ‘upgrade gear paths’ and all these weird convoluted systems for PvE and even PvP I am very disenfranchised with the game at the moment.

At T7 mostly what I was struggling with were bosses largely immune to CC.
I found the boss of Earthcrawl Mines particularly bad because there’s no easy LoS in the room and I can’t interrupt both the DoT and the debuff casts like I can on my shaman.
Plus the normal spammed cast does a lot of damage for a ilvl 567 mage to be trying to take.

It’s day TWO of the season.
Don’t like it, don’t do it. This is challenge content for solo and small groups that lasts the entire season. If you have no interest in challenge or leveling Brann, then this isn’t content for you. Not everyone likes the same things and we don’t have to run the same things.

and players much better than you or me, are saying they need nerfs and balancing passes. If top end raiders are struggling in the content, how is the content supposed to be for ‘casual’ players especially in regards to getting gear for it? No sense.
You sit there and say that on the forums which is entirely optional, just like you clearly didn’t like my post but replied to it. Have a good one, gonna hit ignore because you have zero good conversations with anyone.
