How long are you going to allow FDK to be a dumpster tier spec in PvP? Its honestly really poor craftsmanship on your part. You should be ashamed of your work.

Fdk isn’t bad. It’s just a go based dps, and the go is strong because it does enough damage to kill through defensive overlaps

You should make a FDK and play it into a melee cleave. I promise you wont think its fine. FDK has no counter play to melee dps at all and the recent armor nerfs made it legit unplayable into melee. the PvP talent blood forged armor does not save you in any scenario.

It’s not. The playstyle is just awful (and it’s a lot less good in solo shuffle).
And it probably will stay this way until the community comes to a consensus on how they want FDK reworked because the lifetime mains of it mostly enjoy the playstyle.
If you want it changed, how would you nerf it’s go and what would you buff proportionately to not just make it an unholy reskin?

The biggest issue is survivability. Especially into melee. Aside from IBF we can only press chains and run. Its a god awful playstyle. Maybe give us a PvP talent that turns AMS into a physical damage absorb instead of a magic absorb. Or something that we can play into melee lobbies. Blood forged armor is an awful talent that forces you to spam deathstrike to see any value. Theres a reason nobody plays frost in PvP. Its a very very poor design.
This is the weakness of every single class thats not a rogue/dh/warlock, though. It should be hard to a melee cleave W keying you, though XD
Sure, but unholy DK is the same way. In fact, ubholy loses more damage than frost does by pressing deathstrike.
I personally agree with you, but it’s not “nobody”. All the mains of the spec LOVE that and live and die for that big super murder go that can kill through defensives and trinkets.
For frost to get a rework to sustained OR survivability, it would need its pillar of frost go to be massively nerfed.

This is not true at all. Frost only does frost fever dam when pressing deathstrike. UH has its pet, magus’s, blight and all of its dots rolling when it presses deathstrike. Frost is punished far more when it has to press deathstrike.
Two things. First of all, this is categorically incorrect. While unholy does have pets doing damage, the opportunity cost of RP expenditure by pressing a deathstrike instead of a death coil is SIGNIFICANTLY more punishing for unholy than missing a frost strike for FDK.
Arguing minor dps efficiency across a single global because some pets are hitting does not change the fact that UH loses way more damage than frost does.
Second, you’re being the exact same part of the problem by dodging the question:
If you can’t address this, then you’re not going to see any changes.

I would rather see a 20 second pillar or frost window with less burst than a 12 second window with nuclear burst. Most people dont make a plate dps spec to play it like a sub rogue. Frost use to be fun back in legion because of its bruiser playstyle. THAT is what we want back. Also, a plat DPS spec should under no circumstance be as squishy as DK is right now
We should be able to make different builds in the talent tree. If I want to make a sustained damage build with lower burst I should be able to build that. or if I want all in on the go with low survivability I should be able to build that as well…

Every class cc’s like crazy. Whats your point? Demo lock can chain cc you into oblivion while being as tanky as a guardian druid. Why does DK have to be made of paper?
