Blizzard. demonology

You summon dots instead of casting them. Exciting.

I used to play Demonology on my locks ages ago… then they borked it beyond reason. He’s been affliction ever since.

They really need to stop doing things like that though as it makes them look bad. Really bad. Like really bad like that casserole my sister made in 1987 that escaped and is currently on a most wanted list for crimes against humanity.

You fire twigs at things with demon skin and powers of shadow fire and ice. Exciting.

I wouldn’t mind the rework if it hadn’t devolved into an imp zoo with massive ramp up and no redeeming abilities whatsoever.

Virtually everything but drain life has a cast time, the Tyrant and demons outside the felguard completely refuse to swap targets.

It’s a horribly redesigned spec and needs the shadow priest treatment.

Move away from the imp zoo and put more damage in demonbolt and hand of gul’dan, limit imps to 4 and make them actually hurt.

Either power siphon or soul strike need to be baseline. Dreadhounds needs to be instant. Replace implosion with bringing back Demonwrath or making the Bilescourge Bombers baseline and on a lower cd.

The spec needs more formidable demon variety, including demons from Legions like the Jailors, Ur’zuls, Inquisitors.

And most importantly, finish the half-baked animation of Demonbolt and make it work with green fire already, it’s been several expansions of being scammed out of green fire as demonology.

**Mindblast, a low cd 1.5 sec cast nuke, hits way harder than Demonbolt, a time gated proc that’s not on demand. A full barrage from a 3 shard imps in their total duration deals a fraction of the damage of just SWP+VT alone, of which only half has a cast time.

The spec is just awful and demoralizing to play. There is no payoff at all for the amount of ramp up and lack of target swap capacity it has.**

Don’t forget about Doom.

I main destro. But demonology is my go to for torghast, because it’s so freakin good. Hope that helps op, lel.

I decided to level a demo warlock exclusively through bg’s and I’m consistently on top of the damage leaderboard. I can 1v2 pretty easily in the 40 bracket. Just entered the 50 bracket so lets so how it goes. I don’t think its gonna be as bad as everyone says. No one really knows how to fight us and we use that to our advantage.

Uh-uh. I fire green snakes at things. Lots of them apparently. In my invisible quiver. They don’t seem to mind. They’re all green though. So I dunno.

My problem with doom is that it’s only good on ST bosses, and it made tracking shard gen a nightmare. It should have been revamped long ago to be more useful.

I believe there are weakauras to keep track of doom and grant you shards when they expire.

Just need to find em. But I do agree, I like old Doom better.

You play an elf hunter who shoots a bow you are literally the most uncreative, uninspired boring trope in any fantasy setting to exist.

I mean that’s how the night elves burned in Teldrassil, right?

They took damage over time in an excruciating way possible.

EDIT: Don’t worry, I saved them from Torghast and led them to Ardenweald.

Should have typed less words and just have snarled “Poser!”.

You’ve opened my eyes. I’m going to go play Assassin rogue now.

Revert demonology to pre-legion, change the name of metamorphosis to “Fel Infusion” or something like that, change visual from demon to engulfed in shadowflame. Boom. Good demonology again.

As if they have no power to fix it… disgusting.

Just realized I quoted the same guy 3 times.

Shoutout to the consistency

Hunters don’t have talents that work only for cunning pets, etc. We have TWO talents that needlessly interact with only one pet.

Limit minions to 1, or 0 if you sacrifice it.
