Blizzard declined my right to a refund

They will ALWAYS reject a refund. They could care less why it’s being asked for. You have to dispute it with your bank or payment method.

I’ve done this. Blizzard hopped on the phone real quick and called me.

Yeah but if he wins, chances are the judge will demand blizzard pay for all his legal fees and duress for undergoing the process.

If you know you’ll win, then win.

Your lat seems a little high. I play from mainland China (Beijing) and I get 100-199 (green), on US East Coast servers.
As far as a refund, did you pay with a credit card? Contact your company. If you really don’t care about your account, they will issue a chargeback for you.

So how are you eligible for a refund? If it’s not their product that is causing the issue, and it is in fact your problems…you wouldn’t be eligible right?

So it’s Blizzards Fault you didn’t check your Ping/Connection/Requirements before hitting the BUY button?

It’s Free to get lessons online than to buy them.
Did you learn your lesson?

I believe they are reverting back to OCE servers for PvP Tuesday

Like other people are saying, Blizz is reverting the decision that caused high latency for oceanic players in BGs/Arenas.

If your latency is high outside of BGs and Arenas, make sure your computer is connected to your router via an ethernet cable. A wireless connection is not reliable enough for this game. Many laptops don’t have ethernet ports, unfortunately.

But the issue is still present at the time of me requesting a refund, if it was fixed then sure but at this time it’s not. Making the service unusable for me

You answered your own question.

Also, this is a matter for CS, not the forum mob.

Australian laws are different than American ones. Given what he’s said he very much should be eligible. He’s gonna have to push higher and link to the laws that protect him though.

Doing exactly that in my ticket sfter second gm declined. I’ll ring consumer Australian soon

Just backcharge the purchase then through your credit card.

Your first mistake was assuming you had a right to a refund.

You used the product and the boost.

That argument doesn’t hold up with Australian Consumer Law, I take it your not familiar with it

Not true.

I’ve received various refunds in the past. Not playing and my subscription running on accident, refunding certain character services, etc. Had no issues.

Granted, this was all 2-3 years ago. We all know their customer service has changed drastically in the years.

Well he clearly played and used this content to a decent extent.

He is level 59 and he said it’s been days so it’s safe to assume this guy played quite a bit.

You’d probably need to consult with an attorney in your country to determine what sort of rights you waived (or not) when you signed the EULA. You may or may not have any recourse.

Good luck.

HOW do you have 300ms ping lmao

No honestly I am not

I have no idea how it works when you purchase an item from the US while living there
