The numbers are in and clear at this point that the vast majority of the player base wants LFD implemented into WoTLK at some point during the expansion as was done in the original game.
Most of the polling and comments I have seen, over 15K votes across multiple polls and hundreds of personal comments I have read here, on Youtube and Twitter want LFD in pre-patch.
I know of 3 polls right now with a total of over 15K votes where the percentage for LFD is over 70% and in one case pushing 90%.
These are small sample sizes yes but these are not targeted polls, they are random players watching random videos on Youtube of their favorite non-bias streamers.
My main gripe is the question of where on earth did Blizzard get the notion that a small group of hardcore sweats trying to turn Wrath into something it never was, is the “community?”
The difference between the FOR LFD and AGAINST LFD crowd is that the FOR group is trying to gain something for the game. The AGAINST crowd is trying to keep the rest of us from playing the way we want. They don’t have to use it. No one does. At least give people the option. Wrath was the height of WoW and part of that was LFD. Leave it in the game.
LFD was in the original WoTLK. That is a fact. Keep it in the game. Let the players play. Reverse this decision Blizz for the good of the community.

Good thing this game ain’t a democracy.

Decisions get reversed based on community demand all the time. While it isn’t a democracy, the majority has some say.

Nope.
More like a North Korea setup.
My man Kim says I like this idea.
How about you you citizen. Do you like this idea I like.
Hell yes I do!
as we look at him blinking in the morse code they teach military pilots with his eye lids.
the eye lids say “I am speaking under duress.”
Agreed, the only real debate is when it should be added.
It should be added, but there is only hope they keep the Dungeon Finder server based!
This has honestly been the most blatant dislike for any decision they’ve made in a long time that I’ve seen. Approximately 90% of input is in support of LFD, the split is fairly close to 50/50 on most other issues.

This game is absolutely a democracy. When I go back to a private server with bugs because that’s more enjoyable than a bunch of Activision developers who clearly never even played the game during the WOTLK era and I cancel my three accounts, that’s a vote that matters.
If anyone was actually polled about LFD in the wrath survey sent by blizzard please post an image.
Maybe they’ll actually look at the data in the polls. They clearly didn’t look at the massive polls in favor of adding Dual Spec in TBC, as Brian B. mentioned considering potential changes to it IN WotLK!
I don’t have a bone in this fight but I do hate misinformation. Wotlk numbers went down when lfd was introduced not up.
That is in fact false. There is a graph showing a flat line across WoW sub growth from WotLK pre-patch until 3.3.0, when ICC and LFD were added. From there, we had a steady growth of over 1M subs until Cata prepatch. Subs start dropping after the first patch of Cata.

i’m pretty sure everyone wants LFD except boost sellers, gold buyer/sellers & Blizzard (so they sell the shop boost & probably they aim to sell tokens as well)

Talking about misinformation while spreading more. 30 seconds on the internet will show that it wasn’t dropping until after some time of cata being out.

Wanna try again the first decline started in toc my dude you see the line go down right
I’m thinking that should be about 3 years ago, day one of classic.
Polls and comments aren’t all that valuable for the simple fact that players do not know what they want most of the time.
The random dungeon finder is what turned a lot of us OFF from the franchise at the time of original Wrath. It makes perfect sense that Blizzard has chosen to remove it.
That is misinformation. According to the official numbers that blizzard released every quarter until they stopped about MoP time the numbers never dropped in Wrath. They either stayed the same or slightly rose.
