Pretty much. The BM disparity is going to grow more noticeable in season 4 when ilvls go up to 300ish.
It’s an ilvl thing:
Here’s heroic, ilvls 245-247, for example. BM is above the other 2 hunter specs. In almost every lower ilvl tier, BM is relatively high.
They just scale horrendously, and higher ilvls is when the other specs usually get their set bonuses. BM’s set bonus is bad. (Not the worst, Havoc holds that title), but still bad.
I think he just holds a grudge against Death Knights.

BM is low on the rankings because it is a utility spec. It is more like a tank than a DPS. It is the inappropriate spec to play in raid DPS. There’s nothing to stop you from playing the raids in inappropriate specs, but there’s also no point complaining that your job is 4% more difficult if you purposefully do it wrong.
