Blizzard can you please clarify if you will allow transfers from Anniversary Realms to era prior to TBC?

Bump , please respond to this very simple question : what will happen to our anniversary classic characters ? Will we be able to copy/transfer to era once tbc launches ? Please respect the time invested by the classic community into your game

Would ideally like to know about tbc era servers as well but at the very least we should know what happens to these anniversary classic characters many people are about to spend hundreds of hours on …

that’s clearly about transfers right now, not ones that will be available when TBC comes out :expressionless:

It’s the information we have as of right now: no transfers off these servers.
That could always change, obviously.

That’s not what we’re talking about at all , that’s in relation to transfers between current anniversary classic pvp and pve servers , we’re talking about transfers to permanent classic era realms when tbc launches

I couldn’t care less , especially when the alternative is having to play my character I spent hundreds of hours on in Cata and beyond :face_vomiting:

Someone who is considering a transfer to era surely is willing to trade dual spec to avoid a permanent advancement from the actual expansion they want to play (vanilla classic), no? This point makes no sense in practical terms either, as presumedly it would be a character copy; meaning they would get the copy sent to era and they would in addition also keep their original character they could send off to TBC, keeping dual spec in tact (though in a completely different possibly undesirable expansion).

Yes can we please get an official response this is extremely important for those of us that just want to have our characters eventually stay on classic and not progress to TBC.

I’m not willing to gamble on fresh and vest time without definitively knowing era clones will happen.

Also can we get clarification on if these realms will become permanent or not? Like I am not playing again unless we get confirmation on permanent bc anniversary era and permanent wrath classic anniversary era realms come around.

I started classic in 2019. Loved the idea of clone service. Now we don’t have permanent wrath classic. So if they are just going to ditch bc and wrath again without any options of playing those servers as permanent options for a 3rd time, then I see no point in logging into anniversary classic. I wasted a ton of time, only for vanilla classic to turn into cata classic. Like that is mind blowing.

Also, don’t beat around the bush. No dungeon finders or any of that stupid stuff. Wow tokens Etc. I just want permanent wrath as it was from like 2008- early ulduar 2009 era with icc and all the path 3.3.5 content minus dungeon finder. Like seriously. Is that to much to ask.

Game designer’s are ai bro, the customer service is ai , the only people working on wow just reskin it. Noone to respond to you, try sum free steam games, throne and liberty, once human, dauntless. I.e.
Play for companies like original blizzard that give a fk about the game and not fast $$$$$$$$

they wont allow XFERS. They need to confirm it. THey are gonna force our toons to TBC we dont want TBC

At this point it just makes sense to have 3 timelines and retail. Classic, TBC, WOTLK. Give people the chance to clone their toons to era as they progress. I dont want to play on a server that is going to release TBC. I want to be able to stay on Vanilla. I dont want to lose my toon to expansions being released. I dont want to lose population to expansion release by staying behind. I dont want to face lvl 70s when i choose to stay lvl 60. No amount of time is going to defuse the fact that we have all our classic toons stuck on CATA. Now its a ghost town with all our VANILLA ERA toons stuck on a expansion no one wants to play or ever wanted to play
