Blizzard bug cost me my main

My guild took blizzard’s suggestion and transfered to Sulfuras shortly before they closed transfers. One-by-one I went through and move my characters, until I got to the last, which was my main. On that character I kept getting an arena team error. I did the manual disband command and it said it disbanded my 3v3, which was the only team displayed on my pvp screen.

I put in a ticket and the blizzard support person said that I was also in a 5v5 team but there was a bug and it wasn’t displaying it in my pvp ui. Unfortunately, since blizzard takes multiple days to answer a ticket, by that time the transfers to Sulfuras have closed.

I have requested in multiple tickets to have blizzard move my main to Sulfuras manually and all they come back with is that they cannot do that. I have also suggested they could maybe give me a free 70 boost so I could at least replace the class without having to pay (though won’t help not having my geared toon). Of course, they say they cannot do this either.

So yah after 15+ years playing, paying on double accounts, blizzard give me a giant FU by refusing to fix the problem their bug caused.

No wonder they keep losing subs…

It doesnt even make sense to lock transfers to people that already have characters on that server. Whether you have 1 or 5 there is literally the same for server pop unless 2 accounts

He said why. There was a bug with his arena rating so he had to wait for a ticket.

The order I moved them would not have affected my ability to do it and blizzard refusal to fix the situation.

consider deez nuts, none of you are capapble of throwing a quip and keeping on topic lol. You can do both.

Anyway this is just trash customer service. But unfortunately its trash customer service that theyre covered for.

They warn you about response times etc etc and finding out your character was bugged was up to you and reporting it blah blah blah.

You just got rekt by the system. You know, like how reports are all “manually reviewed”. Some people just get destroyed and all you can do is hope the community will help make it better because blizzard certainly wont.

He said he did that due to an arena team bug that prevented him from transfering his main. Idk that you have room to critique another persons reading comprehension

I was in the fence about transfering off grob. Stuff like this was the reason i decided not to.

If there was a way to like “start the process”, meaning a spot has been reserved for your character. Then if they lock the server transfers, you would have 10 days or whatever to resolve any issues that may come up. My fear was exactly what happened to the op. That i would get some characters transfefred but then they would lock it while i was trying to move the rest. So i didmt want to risk it and just stayed.

Lucky for me, bkill took down the fake issue that was causing the created ques anyway.
