Blizzard being scared to just give blood elves blue eye option

could do that, or a resurgent kingdom of alterac.

though, idk if the horde would even trust alterac.

I agree, I don’t think the numbers in the pro camp justify what would be a controversial business move.

Now if the story after SL has a good solid timeshift, maybe the Alliance and Horde factions won’t matter. Maybe they won’t even exist anymore. Then, Quel’dorei could be added as a group united with the Sin’dorei.

They were exiled. They are not Horde loyal. I’m pretty sure they were exiled before the blood elves joined the Horde. Also note, Umbric says somewhere as dialogue that he’s sure Alliance banners will fly over Silvermoon again.

Void corrupted isn’t necessarily bad, as we saw on Argus.

Honestly, with the amount of amazing new Blood elf customisations we are getting, being upset about not getting blue eyes feels petty. from the looks of it we are getting more than any other race in these customisations and its all looking fantastic.

I seriously hope that’s at the moment. Other races are lacking and blood elves are looking amazing. Other races aren’t finished so we can hope they get blood elf treatment.

I said it was “a shame”.

I’m very pleased with the customization options.

I’ve heard this before, but I just don’t see the factions ever going away really. I said before that, imo, I think Blizzard’s too married to the idea. The factions are part of the WoW branding to be removed.

What’s the difference between Alliance and Horde Pandaren?

The funny thing is… This subject will NEVER die because there will always be at least one of these threads (‘pro’ people and ‘against’ people) in case Blizz never gives playable Silver Covenant High Elves in the Alliance.

And even if they do, there are going to be as many threads asking for either them to reconsider, or to add blue eyes to the Blood Elves, or a combination of any of those.

In reality what this player is doing, as well as many other in both sides of the discussion is littering the forums instead of posting in their specific megathreads.

To be fair, I think pandaren were an exception made in experimentation. I don’t think they’re something we should look at as a rule.

They were exiled after the Sunwell was restored precisely because they were a threat to it so it was at the end of BC at the earliest.

Didn’t know that, thanks.

The only reason they don’t is likely because they have something down the pipe line later involving a blue eyed elf model.

Blizzard has shown they don’t care about adding things that piss people off. If they’re not adding it now, they have plans for it.

Also, and I could be misremembering, but didn’t Blizzard come out to say that they ended up not liking that you could be either faction with the Pandaren?

Nah they were exiled after joining the horde.

It’s not, you are right, but we are a Light worshiping heavy faction, fighting against an old god and in the middle of a war with the horde. It seems like a pretty big push to be perfectly ok allowing a group of horde who got exiled for dangerous experiments that got themself void corrupted into our ranks without question.

Especially when the whole scenario could have played our the same just make Umbric and his followers a group of allready alliance loyal High elves so it dosen’t seem like such a reach.

Except there are no Humans currently on The Horde unplayable to Horde.

While there are and have been High Elves across all the expansions aligned to the Alliance. They’re apart of The Alliance, they’re just not a playable race.

You’re adorable. High Elf threads have been around as long as World of Warcraft has existed, and they aren’t going anywhere any time soon.

You’re mental if you think feedback for a playable race is somehow breaking forum code of conduct. We get it. You hate Alliance players wanting something, relax.

What you say may well be true. In which case playable Quel’dorei is probably never happening.

I would however like to see a new storyline, with a more dynamic faction system after SL. Perhaps the Horde and Alliance are still there but due to internal conflict have broken into additional factions.

I mean, why do the Night Elves continue to accept the status quo. It’s done nothing but harm them.

The Horde has some internal fractures, as well.

I really am angry I can’t play on an evil undead faction.
