I am doubtful, how bad the pretext that these ideas are going to do for the near future has given as saying that they do not worry.
But at the same time I have realized that to show that all this of the new option of the customization especially of the previous year last year in the blizzcon an Asian and a black as customization in ONLY FOR THE HUMAN ALLIANCE I realized that in the end Blizzard that only took advantage once again include the trend of the political agenda, inclusion and diversity, and the PC in your video games as the Blizzard rainbow t-shirt by J. Allen (if it is the most viewed thread in the WoW forum).
That was really pathetic and ridiculous in a video game where within this world not only diversity exists in races that do not have human appearance, such as humans and belfs and Voidemos.
Okay, there is no problem, it is a point to the design and news of the game but seeing that customization was still lacking for more races, and it really was necessary that it was not only humans in Stormwind, I see that the company did not think about the game, which makes me very sad that they have left it with a separate point and we will only have to wait when it gives a new customization for other races that need more than humans or does nothing stating that it is already complete.
My take on the Q&A is they are not listening to anyone but themselves. They don’t know how to listen. One big give away is Ion’s repeated use of the Phrase “We think… we think… we think…” But where are the intelligent individuals on the team who say “I think…” Where is their Kevin Jordan?
Where are the passionate dissenters who say Shadowlands sucks and we can do better? That person is not working on the team, instead it’s the sound of one hand clapping. They are insular and inside of an echo chamber. A circular self-congratulating team of degenerates who have long been supported by a player-base they didn’t earn, do not understand, and do not deserve.

They asked for feedback. They said they will be adding more customization options. Now they don’t even have a plan.
No plan for further updates means they lied.
It’s that simple.
Customization was the big selling point of Shadowlands. It was really the only thing I was looking foward too. Yes the only thing in all of Shadowlands.
This is straight up bad marketing.
This i agree with It’s sad when the people who make R34 wow can do 1000% better than the whole company. It could come back and bite them in the backside as EU and Australia courts could side with consumers more than in the US. the company is walking on a very thin line right now.

No it’s not a “political agenda” and the selling point was on all races. Trolls are a good example for the hype they created at last Blizzcon, but they failed.

It’s pretty clear that almost no part of Blizzard was ready for Blizzconline. In fact, they had so little to reveal for Shadowlands that 35 minutes of the WoW block on Friday was dedicated to Burning Crusade Classic and the last 25 minutes of the WoW block wasn’t even shown on the official Blizzard Twitch channel, presumably because they knew how much better the Diablo IV presentation was going to be.
Also wouldn’t surprise me if they also confirm that Brawler’s Guild won’t be returning in Shadowlands on top of all of this.
Remember, they made NO mention of Brawler’s Guild at all at Blizzconline. That’s not good news either.

They said they are not adding more because of covid or because they were satisfied? I didn’t even watch Blizzcon.
Another classic Blizzard bait and switch. They say one thing, and do the opposite, all the while asking for “player suggestions” as if players haven’t been shoving customization options in their face for years.
Simple fact is they don’t care.
Players gave Blizzard WAY TOO MANY different suggestions for Blizzard to do ALL of them, or even 10% of them. It’s not possible.
It’s easy to say something in 10 words that takes 4 man-months to add to the game. Multiply that by thousands of suggestion, and it is simply impossible, even if Blizzard AGREED with every suggestion.
Do you think WoW is like Burger King? Just place your order and they’ll do it? It doesn’t work that way. It can’t work that way.
This is 2021. There are no MMOs that are “customized to each player”. Maybe there will be in 2050. But not now.
Nope, not at all. They simply said they had no plans for customization. They simply abandoned it.
No one is mad about something you made up.
But asking for feedback and saying you are working on something and then delivering absolutely nothing, that’s extremely bad.
They’ve could have gone with one race per patch, added some small things over time and people would be happy.

this is what was so confusing, like it was literally a shock when they said “we have no plans for more customizations in SL, we did good enough” after we all believed that they will mention at least further customizations in 9.1 or 9.2, like how they can say good enough when half of the races didn’t got any customizations whatsoever? and the races with the least amount got nothing
like at this point i would be thankful to get few hairstyles/haircolors, at least SOMETHING which is better than nothing but nope, blizzard dont give a damn about their community, asking for feedback but not listening so whats the point even
oh poor troll brothers, i feel you, asking for beard options for over a decade but blizzard gives middle finger to all of us, heck Voljin have a beard so why the playable trolls cant?
