No. They are not listening. They do not value any of us as customers. Our only avenue to be heard is to quit. They will suddenly react very swiftly if enough of us do.

Customization is going to be their carrot on a stick to try and fish for expansion pre-orders. You get 2 new hairstyles, an eye color, and random crappy earrings if you buy the $60 expansion now!
They have 0 respect for the playerbase. Customization along with covenants was the two major selling points of shadowlands and covenants failed miserably, then they abandon customization entirely.
They had no intention of continuing when they got the subs and pre-orders. Customization duped so many people into giving them money in the end. Despite their promises to continue adding customization and statements on how easy it would be and then suddenly “it too hard to add more dude, you got enough with your 3 hairstyles and 2 eye colors, heh”. When my sub is done, I’m done, but until then I’m going to make as much noise about this load of

sadly its the true solution and it saddens me, as much i love this game and enjoy it, it feels like crap being ignored like that, saw already few nightborne mains canceling their subs because they feel like blizzard forgot we even exist
you clearly can see this in Q&A, they didn’t even mention the problem where races like nightborne, highmountain taurens, lightforged draenei etc don’t have any options at all, and those are the races that gave feedback since they released, alot of it yet all of it ignored just like that… not the best way to treat customers that for sure, forgetting our existence or use us as a backup plan for adding more for a newer expansion

its sad that some of us used to be mains of said specific race and just because lack of love given to that race by the devs themselves, and some quit the game because of it 
its like really they forgot about nightborne even existing, as Ion said in interview 3 years ago for bfa, that they will listen to our feedback if any allied race lack customization or feels behind, 3 years later nightborne is still in very bad state almost untouched with not a single word from blizzard
They don’t need a team dedicated to it. Just one person to work on that and implement stuff gradually.
What matters imo is the will to work on the subject.

well , no work being done is due to no one at activision caring about wow. They consider it outdated , and would rather spend their cash elsewhere. so wow is just a cash cow with minimal effort being put into a game . something like that

Thank you. Actually worgen kinda inspired me on how to make eyes look like glowing but with visible pupils.
I’m still working on this stuff, today I tried to edit another hairstyle, but I realized that I need to add more polygons to make it work xD

Suits don’t understand the genre. WoW is old but it’ll never be outdated because it’s transcended being a video game; it’s a cultural touch point. It’s why no game has ever been able to “kill” WoW. You can make an objectively better game by every metric and it still won’t matter because people don’t have the relationship with that brand new title that they do with WoW.
Which, to be fair, might also be why they seem to not care about the game. They don’t really need to do anything to keep it profitable, and that’ll drop players faster but foresight has never been a thing corporations are good at.

I don’t agree with all of your points, but I agree with most of it and your end point.
It seems to me like they know exactly they don’t really need to do anything, or have to improve. People will still okay the game. It’s sad if it’s like that.
I’m sure it is for their shareholders though and they are sadly the only ones that matter.

I wish you were right. But they don’t care. As long as the money is rolling in for them. I don’t think they will take a large enough hit (I wish though).
