So I haven’t played World of Warcraft Cataclysm on my account since sometime last spring. I went to retail and started playing with some friends and didn’t really think about Cata classic in that time. Well of course, MoP hype comes back around and I figured I’d lock back in and do some panda gaming. Come to find out, I attempt to log in and the email address is no longer valid as a battle net account. It says it doesn’t exist? So I decide to open a ticket and give as much info as I can about my account. Well that seemed to trigger something with the automated system I assume because I get an email at about 2:42 am PST in the morning stating "This battle net account has been found in violation of Blizzard’s End License User agreement. Due to violations of this policy, the Battle.Net account has been permanently closed. So now I’m a little confused because 1) I haven’t logged in on it, in over a year and soon as I try to figure out what happened to it… it gets closed? Did I get hacked somewhere along the way or something? I don’t even have access to my battle net account, so how could/would they close it, if I myself do not have access to it? Has anyone else experienced this? I’m just not sure what to do as it said to not contact them again…very strange customer service. Case ID #105291043 for the ticket I opened after I got the account closure message. Case ID #105268705 for the ticket regarding closing my account. Thanks for any and all discussion everyone.
This screams account comprimised id open a hacked account ticket.
