Blizz, you MUST fix the herb gathering CRISIS

Blizzard, your herb nodes in this expansion have a major problem. You have WAY undertuned the amount of herbs coming out of each node. I have herbalism maxed out, I have a high specialization skill, I am specialized in Mycobloom (for example), I have gathering gear, I gather from a Crystallized, Irradiated, or even a LUSH mycobloom

AND I ONLY GET 1 OR 2 HERBS. This is an EPIDEMIC. When I am really lucky, I can get THREE from a LUSH node. But OVER AND OVER AND OVER again I mine and I get ONE, TWO, ONE, TWO, OOOOOOH THREE! It makes me SICK! Herbalism has never been this BAD before.

Then to spit in my eye further the alchemy cost to craft potions is insane! 10 herbs for one potion here, TWENTY herbs to experiment and learn a skill…It is just too much.

Please “Re-examine” your RNG system that determines how many herbs we get each node. It is FAR too punishing right now. With my ratings that I mentioned I should be getting FOUR or FIVE regularly and with a LUSH plant I should be getting SEVEN OR EIGHT.

Fix this broken mess PLEASE!

That happens quite frequently too. Just as I get there or half way through gathering it just evaporates. I take that as a special “SCREW YOU!” from Blizzard LOL.

Hopping on here because I’ve been testing out the situation with gathering. So I’ve noted that characters that I started gathering on during early access have incredibly reduced drop rates in all three gathering professions compared to characters that I started after the expansion went live.
So I think there’s something messed up there.

It’s early in the profession progression. I hope for bigger yields as we get higher skill.

I’m not a profession guru by any means. Just like it for crafting for my main characters. Right now, with everything being new, I’m out farming my own mats because some of this stuff is pretty high on the ole store.

Nah, that’s only the easy mine ores where you spend 5+ seconds mining and dodging bombs only for it to despawn on you.

Or the ez mine ores you overload only for it to despawn on you again costing you a 12 hour cooldown . . .

At max level in mining, I get the same problem as OP’s herbing.

I mine a ore node and get 1-2 ore. If I encounter a rich node, I will maybe get 3, count them, 3 ore.

Only the seams will give me more.

And forget about the EZ-mining nodes, those never give more than 2.

Do you think this does not happen with herbs? It happens with both, always has, it’s just with mining it happens a tad more.

Blame the phasing.

Haha imagine blizz stealth nerfing early access players.

It makes you really appreciate the one herb you get, it could be worse, they could give you no herbs.

Okay, I take back part of my previous comments. Even my alts are getting trash drops on ore and herbs.

Skinning isn’t great either, but it’s actually easier since it’s easier to just round up assorted skinnable mobs.

I understand, sort of, why they wanted to reduce the high qualty mats, but reducing the lower quality like this is ridiculous.

This is still a BAD PROBLEM. My herbalism skill is 100 and I have a high spec skill with the herbs too and I am STILL only getting 1-3 herbs. VERY, VERY rarely I get more. But with all the points I have put into it I SHOULD GET MORE.

Blizzard, could we PLEASE get a fix???

Because it was already mined. Back in the day the nodes would instantly vanish after harvested. Now they give you several seconds for multiple people to hit and still people just whine.
