For those that are OBLIVIOUS and TOO LAZY to read the OP post gathering professions are giving too few resources for the investment being put into those professions. The drops for mats should be higher.
(meanwhile on skinning) One skin at a time at max level but i can go to DF with max skinning and get 3-4 skins per skinning? yeah its a lil meh atmâŚ
How much Finesse does your profession gear have?
When you say you have high spec, is it in Bountiful Harvests?
Or did you go the Botany route to allow you to gather while mounted?
Yeah, It seems decent to have dual gathering while youâre doing other stuff⌠pick up some side cash. But I did a few hours on an alt with decent skills, 60 in each and some cheap equipment for the profession⌠totally not worth it.
ANY shuffle strategy, or craft spamming in town will be more lucrative.
Hey flowers and rocks are how I earn my keep.
Leave them the way they are, I need the gold.
As someone with Mining on my main and Herbalism on alts, I get anywhere between 1-8 per node.
For herbs, I overcharge irradiated nodes so I can get a bonus herb and Iâm working on the Irradiated tree now so it can give me two bonus nodes. Maxed the Finesse node first for mounted gathering.
For ore, I overcharge the EZ-mine nodes because they give me about 3 extra nodes before I have to scoot out of the deathbomb AoE by just spamming the Interact key while trying to face the Bismuth mini-nodes. Again, maxed on the Finesse tree first for mounted gathering before going into the general +skill tree. Since Bismuth is like, 40g+ for 1 star and over 200g for 3 star, if I wasnât using all of it I could make some bank.
This happens to me all.the.time. They just disappear. I stopped doing professions in DF because it was such a joke.
No we are not. It is fine. I am having 0 issues.
On day one you say?
I agree thereâs a problem with these systems not feeling like youâre making any progress. Spend months leveling a profession, or in this case a few hours, for 5% better? You never notice that unless your looking at data over a long period of time.
They did this to all professions - everything has increased demand with decreased supply, which is clearly all by design (IMO to directly pad in more time and indirectly sell more tokens).
They need to change that so it doesnât disappear if you are already in contact with it.
Oh donât give Blizzard ideas like, âOops, that wasnât really a Lurebind herb, Try again!â
But then they would have to create actual content in the game. Just be grateful you can fly and donât have to run from one herb to another. Cuz, apparently, âflying should be taken awayâ because itâs âhurting the game experienceâ.
Why,why would any want to saturate the herb/ore markets in the first month of the expansion?
The bots will be selling them for pennies soon enough.
Let the legit players have a chance to make a few gold before that happens.
For the first time refining is actually useful.
This.
This absolutely drives me bonkers.
It wouldnât even be so bad if everything that used them didnât take so many mats. I take Herbalism to supplement my Alchemy, and it feels like I can never get ahead as most of the recipes require multiple nodes worth of the normal herbs, and often a rarer drop as well.
It is like they are planning professions either with the idea that everyone has enough money to buy the herbs they need, or has hours a day to gather so they can make a relatively few amount of things.
During DF my alchemist was selling upwards of 7,000 phials and pots per day.
Yes, per day.
I was buying herbs in lots of 25,000 at a time.
I had herbalism, but to make what I could sell in drinks I was buying them.
No way was I going to be able to farm that many herbs by myself.
Iâm certain I wasnât the only alchemist doing it cuz there was 100âs of thousands of those alchemy drinks selling everyday
I only made like 1g-5g ea, but do the math on those bulk sales
I donât think TWW will be any different.
Raids havenât even started yet.
Maybe it is to motivate you purchase herbs on AH that some bot gathered?
Or fragments of herbs!
I miss games with personal node systems. The bots always ruin it otherwise.
