Blizz working with Discord to ban boosting communities

I read the article and it does not specifically mention RMT, token, or gold transactions. Unless you have another source you would like to share with us…

Which context clue didnt resonate with you: A) people being banned for selling cheats OR B) the links to the previous news articles where they talk about it?

Even then, this should be common sense at this point.

When analyzing a situation I prefer to make judgments based on the actual information presented instead of trying to rely on my subjective biased perspective to decipher context clues.

But you do you. I’ll wait for more information.

Bro, its not comprehensive foreign policy – its boosting communities being banned. This is most likely the only news your are getting with it and whatever context WoWHead links in the articles.

Genuinely curious. Did you really think you were getting discord for free?

Your data is the product. Any “free” software works this way. Always has.

Companies working with other companies. Never happened before. Ever.

Huh? Did you reply to the wrong person?

Of course I know that discord (and all social media, cell phone companies, apps, etc…) is harvesting our data.

Its just not often that you hear of companies using that data to take action to enforce other the rules of other companies

No it just means i didnt make the sarcastic joke not poignant enough.

They arent using without Discord’s compliance. Which means Discord probably made an agreement and is allowing is to happen under their guidance.

Are you claiming that Discord and Blizzard are working together to enforce the Blizzard ToS?

That is a bold claim to make based off “context clues”

Bro what are you even on about?

They dont need blizzard to tell them to ban people for rmt cheats its in discord guidelines

“Do not distribute or provide access to content involving the hacking, cracking, or distribution of stolen goods, pirated content, or accounts. This includes sharing or selling game cheats or hacks.”

Its whatever now.

No selling cheats for games is against discord guidelines

No no, explain yourself. You don’t get to do a twirly snarky comment that doesn’t make any sense and back away from it.

They aren’t handling the transaction in discord because they are doing things on the up and up. This is for real life money.

Because it wasnt directed at you but the person you were responding to.

Thats why i said move on. You didnt get it so thats why i stopped with it.

Lol, its okay to say that you didnt get the joke. Calm down.

If you have to explain a “joke” it is not a joke.
