It is my retail main, so I can see replies on either forum. I know you probably can’t comprehend the difference between max level character, and lvl 20
since i started doing Mag, the chest piece token didnt drop for my class.
Those hardcore dad guilds? Those are dudes with established careers, and grown up kids.

Eh, depending on when you had kids, but also in light of covid shutting down a lot of things for some time.
I know I’ve had a ton of free time, and a few of the guilds I associate with are in the same boat the last year.
When did 3 tokens start dropping? I recall “triple vanq” being a meme in my guild because we saw so many Vanquisher tokens. I had thought the token drop rate increase brought it from 2 to 3, not 1 to 2. So I was pretty surprised to see only 1 token dropping in 25 mans.
If it continues to be 1 that will be pretty rough in future tiers.

I think retail is the same as it will be in TBCC and some bosses only drop 1 token in retail RN if im not mistaken.
Not really, I have friends with grandchildren but they were early starters.
EDIT: Drop tables are random as all hell but I could find that they drop between 1-3 pieces of tier.
Let’s stop being ridiculous. Asking that a boss drop 2 tokens instead of 1 in a 25 MAN RAID is not asking for free loot. Kara bosses drop 1 token, so it only makes sense that a raid with more than twice as many people should drop at least twice as many tokens.

1 token is not “no changes,” 2 tokens is what 25 man bosses dropped in real TBC and then 3 tokens in a later patch when that content was outpaced. 1 token from 25 man bosses and honor nerfed to be worse than original tbc is actually unacceptable.
Shut up kid. Many people wanna play TBC, they don’t wanna relive the unbearable parts of classic wow. Go play on your loser private servers if you want that.
Loot drama is not fun. Getting gear is fun.
Screw these no changes losers. They can play on private servers in their mom’s basement.
Blizzard won’t do anything about this until Phase 2. Until then, you’ll like it and remain subscribed regardless. Fundamentally, you realize complaining about this is useless.

Another reason they should release with 2 tokens is that if TBCC was released with the original content, we’d have already been collecting Tier 5 tokens by now. Artificially delaying T5, releasing it late, then only giving one token would make gear even scarcer than it was the first time.

Long story short… as of today we are exactly 13 weeks away (91 days) from when Black Temple & Hyjal were released in the original game, and SSC/TK still arent out yet.
If SSC/TK released today and BT/MH release on the same schedule as it did 15 years ago, then at most only half your raid would get a T5 token of any one slot before BT/Hyjal releases… if bosses only drop one look token.
You can go back and see clearly in kills of leotheras that he drops 2 glove tokens, as well as the subsequent lady vashj kills having 2 tokens (not the first kill though because the trash from her fight bugged out and didn’t despawn causing the guild to wipe after they killed vashj then getting blocked from looting the boss, so they actually never saw their loot. )
But the point remains. There is no arguement. Ssc/tk and beyond all drop 2 tier tokens and eventually t4 bosses get patched to drop 2 tokens as well. Its a bummer but that’s how it is.
the only t4 bosses that dropped 1 token were in karazan. Maulagar, Gruul and mag all dropped 2 tokens and got patched to 3 tokens later on.
You could, you know, bring other classes to the raid
This is absolutely a serious issue. One token in tier 4 kind of sucked but at the end of the day we had crafted gear and weird dungeon blues that were very competitive so a number of classes could afford to pass.
One token in tier 5? That’s really going to hurt. It’s not only phase BiS for a lot of classes, we use set bonuses beyond the current tier. Boomkins will be wearing 4pc in Sunwell for god’s sake. THIS IS LITERALLY A SLOWER TIER DISTRIBUTION THAN VANILLA NAXX; 2 tokens for 40 people vs 1 for 25. PLEASE change it.
