Blizz tells gamerrant they want Wrath to "Feel like vanilla"

So basically, literally every single giant corporation? Look dude, a job’s a job. Working at a corporation where they employ some nasty people isn’t the same as morally aligning with those people. Why would you even say this?

Hoping one of the UI updates is a Heirlooms tab.

Once again do you think blizzard will really do the work to add new sets of achievements every phase in classic? Keep in mind 5 mans already have a ton of achieves with a reward,.

Like sure that would be cool if they did.

Yes which directly implies there will be multiple difficulties.

huge difference between being a programmer and working at wendy’s

one can pick and choose where to work. Where you work reflects on you. If you’re willing to stay at a company after your boss is not only found out to be a sexual abuser but then STAYS AT THE COMPANY like multiple higher ups at blizzard then idk man thats pretty sad and I’d expect you to produce terrible work.

There’s no reason for any of this. Don’t break what works perfectly fine. Wrath dungeons were great. Making them scaling buffed difficulty Retail Mythic+ type content is just a recipe for disaster. Let Retail be Retail and let Wrath be Wrath.

Why does that even need to be said?

Definitely appreciate the communication. Hope y’all are having a good day, and hopefully we can continue to have these open feedback channels between the community and the devs.

You’re priding them on what, 3, maybe 4 posts/responses? With decisions marked as some of the most controversial in Classic WoW, you’d think they’d have the decency to respond more than that.

Or you know actively ask for and respond to with back and forth to feedback like they did in vanilla and early TBC(before tseric’s epic meltdown)

Especially considering they said they heard feedback from the community in favour of this decision.

I agree, but “at some point” is better than the nothing we’ve had prior. We’re all frustrated, but I see no reason to shoot the messenger when they’re delivering information relevant to the conversation we’re having ITT.

Hopefully we get confirmation in the near future about the concerns we have with how inadequate the solution they’ve given for RDF is. But until then there’s nothing we can really do but keep relaying those concerns.

Hey can you delete all the crybaby posts on the topic since you’ve updated everyone here. Forums are clogged with tears.

You might have missed the memo but Literally is now the only word in the english language that also means it’s own antonym “figuratively”…

So the word literally now literally means both “literallly” and “figuratively” depending on context.

I think people around here would be a lot less toxic and offer more constructive feedback if they thought it might actually do some good.

(S)he’s not a messenger:

In my current role as a Producer I help plan and oversee WoW Classic releases, maintain development schedules, and provide day to day support to the fantastic WoW Classic dev team.

I’m not saying there’s anything we can do - I’m saying we shouldn’t be patting them on the back for literally doing their job, and when they’ve done nothing of the sort comparing to the thousands of posts that go unanswered.

“Crybaby”? That’s all you got?

Maybe they really are trying to sabotage Wrath.

Aight, do you. I’m of the mindset that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but either way, continuing to discuss it doesn’t really do either of us any good. Hope you have a good one.

Being a brown-nose isn’t helping anyone here.

Toodles!
