Blizz: S(ave) O(ur) S(erver) Ashkandi Alliance

Blizz The Alliance on Ashkandi is rapidly dying with Guilds transferring daily to other servers or faction changing to horde, or just giving up entirely. LFG is almost dead and apart from a few levelling guilds the only time a lot of players log on is at the guilds raid time otherwise a lot of guilds only have 1-2 people logged on at a time

. ATM it’s currently around 85% horde to 15% Alliance. The only people left soon are going to be the ones that can’t afford or don’t want to move servers. Why not server merge with Westfall which is the exact opposite of Ashkandi and will lead to a more balanced server that will last till the end of the expansion and will make people on both servers want to keep there subscriptions if they can do dungeons, have a good economy and level new toons and professions.

That actually would be a pretty good merge looking at the numbers

Logic dies at the lobby front desk of blizzard HQ.

They will at some point get the ye olde free transfer to “crap” servers. OB would be on the list. Not a bad place actually but…for reasons mysterious this is given out as the answer for east coast issues.

Ping or just better luck with east coast play times makes it not ideal for some.

People from ashkandi are crazy.

Ashkandi needs to die and so are other small server. They should just merge all the non pvp servers into 1 big horde non pvp server and 1 big alliance non pvp server.

Other than mankirk which is a high pop server for non pvp no other non pvp server is actually doing good.

The best decision I ever made was to get my main of Ashkandi at the start of TBC.

Could be worse.

Think Mankrik has less than 200 alliance characters on it.

They use BG sign ups a lot. Not even joking.

I think I see more of mankrik, whitmane and faer alliance in BG on my alliance teams than actual open world horde players on those servers do.

I see a few now and again, they’re always pvp flagged and they’re almost all from the same guild.

i’m surprised about whitemane, last i heard there’s only like 2 alliance guilds left there. :sob:

I’ve been taking my 80 BE paladin on whitemane to tauren mills/southshore for farming wool for tailoring leveling.

I don’t see alliance anywhere even with JJ. My hours played there anyway.

I’d even leave them be. Picking off levelers is not my thing. I really just want the wool to be out of the place.

yeh for the most part i feel like that’s the consensus there, in my experience. i’ve still got my little baby alliance toons there (lvl 50 lol) and any time i’ve logged in/was seen by someone playing their horde toon, they’d just leave me be (after the /wave to make sure i wasnt a bot ofc). surprising really considering how feral the pvp there used to be :sob:

I’ve been on Ashkandi since the start of TBC. Once the server transfer floodgates opened, people started trickling out, but nowadays it’s a game of “Who transferred today?” Barely anyone in LFG, terrible AH. Blizzard, if you can read this… please consider a server merge.

As Coeurdeleon’s guildmate my views are obviously colored by some of his same experiences. With that said I can only hope Blizzard can see past the transfer fees, faction change fees, or other poison pill profit centers in this case. Ashkandi has become unplayable for Alliance. Without intervention from Blizzard to merge with another population, Ashkandi Alliance will be forced to experience an MMO one player game. How do we complete basic tasks without a functioning community and minimally stocked auction house? Do I have to level out every character and profession for myself so I can attempt to experience the basics WoW Classic Wrath has to offer? Am I forced to accept the server transfer poison pill in order to keep experiencing the best expansion WoW has ever had? I understand low population servers have a place, but standing in Dalaran with less than 50 other Alliance toons running around at any given point is deflating.

Blizz - Please give us an option to experience the game the way it is meant to be played without taxing us IRL. We pay the same sub fees as Pagle, Atiesh, Westfall, etc. We should be able to play the same game.

Ashkandi, along with my own realm Windseeker, really needed free transfers to it or merges with other realms. Blizzard however left us to rot, cherry picking realms for transfers that were already better off than us. I’m thankful my faction has survived this long from day 1 of classic. I hope it can hold out for the rest of wrath. After that, those of us left can unsub in good spirits and be free of this garbage company.
