to the top. would love a CM to interact with us.
Fairbanks really dying? Thats crazy. what happened.
Skeram.
Sulfuras.
Earthfury.
I am on my third chance here, going for a 50/50 server only to watch one faction ultimately collapse. Indeed, maybe do something like block xfers to the overwhelming majority like Bene A. The servers left behind just crumble. One side, then the other.
Theyâll just say kekw player created issue sorry not sorry
Sad but true.
Allow us to transfer PvE>PvP and JFC help these people yes PEOPLE PLAYERS the people you do NOT care about⌠help them have a better game life.
Most people donât want a 50/50 server, so I donât think youâll have much luck finding a server thatâll stay 50/50 forever.
Yeah, I was leveling an Alliance toon on Smolderweb. Sometimes, there are like 4 other people on
Not dying anymore. Dead. There are ~ 3 organized guilds left, all with one Kara group and no 25 mans. Two large guilds left last week and two more this week. I do not think we will even be able to PUG a gruul/magâŚTK and SSC are certainly not going to happen unless there is an unknown guild out there that only raid logs. Our raid loggers are lower than some of the other âdeadâ servers and our true active player base is around 100 - attunement is very difficult and pretty much no one is running normal dungeons. Donât get me started on finding a JC/enchanter or the economy. The stuff youâre used to on Arc.
Horde pop is great. Itâs kind of sad - most of them look at me like an exotic animal when they come across me/other ally.
We have people respeccing daily just to do Kara attunes on AR lol
Remember when all the med and low pop servers were making fun of the people on high pop servers with queues?
This is why we stuck to them.
Some people just donât like big servers. For example Iâve never once regretted taking the free transfer a few weeks after launch to move from Herod to Earthfury. The mega server atmosphere was not something I liked (and for that matter Herod is not healthy, one side of your server is dead and the same thing happened to the Herod alliance that we are discussing here).
Anyway some people like actual community feel to a server and the medium and smaller servers have offered that. That makes this whole thing even worse for people who just canât get the experience they want anymore.
Herod has a community, just because you donât know all of 5 people on Earthfury horde doesnât mean a larger server has no community or fun.
Personally I enjoy the memes and drama that comes out of our discord, had 2 weeks of protest against a single player for ninja-ing a piece of gear. It was great.
And once the alliance couldnât dispel world buffs they left to their own pve server. But Herod is still fine, I can join pug 25 mans, heroics at any time of the dayâŚitâs pretty good
I agree - not asking to be a BIG server here. Would just like to see a server that has more than one guild for my faction. Hell, Horde on AR only has two guilds - and pretty sure they have to raid together due to lack of numbers. We crave that community feeling - but only one guild for the Alliance on a realm is awful for everyone.
Personally, not really a fan of one sided factions, yes I know Iâm on pagle, but that was when we used to have a horde population. Tried leveling horde during pre-patch, people only talked about how they just wanted to go to mankrik or another decent horde pop server. Or just level and work on profession then xfer once they got what they needed out of it. Seriously, this IS an issue, largely a player driven issue for dominate faction. But also blizzard for encouraging it.
Earthfury only has 1500 fewer horde than you do right now. I join 25 man pugs or heroics etc just the same as you.
When I left Herod there were far too many what could be described as elitist jerk pserver tryhards with terrible personality types. Just absolutely bottom of the barrel as far as being quality people is concerned. I couldnât be around that toxic garbage dump so was glad to leave. Maybe things changed over time. I donât know. EF got some of these types once the Incendius horde transferred over and that was bad too but staying on Herod would have drastically reduced my experience not improved it. Iâd never go to Faerlina for the same reason.
Anyway, what I was really trying to point out is that people like different server sizes. Only having a few mega servers is bad. That doesnât mean that people should have mocked those who wanted to stay on larger servers in the past for the queues but if people like small servers (and I like medium so this doesnât even really apply to me) and there arenât any around anymore well thatâs not a good thing.
Not just encouraging it, but enabling it. Leaving the flood gates open and then saying âoh thats a player created issue.â yes it was player created⌠because of your careless disregard for the players behavior in your game. Such a copout when people say that⌠smh
Thereâs a difference between low pop realms and dead realms. Kromcrush Alliance had a decent enough population through all of classic, and now I log on to somewhere between 5-15 people total. âWhy not just choose a more populated realm?â Because I have 2 years worth of progress across various characters that are now unplayable. The expectation that I should spend $25 per character I want to play is insane.
I agree. I play on Rattlegore, and thereâs an exodus from that server in progress now. The future of the server looks grim, and the people who hung on after the first wave are beginning to fall off. If this continues, Iâm not sure Iâm going to spring for the transfer. Iâll probably just cancel my sub instead.
Our feedback needs to be heard. Paying for transfers is NOT a viable solution for these realms.
Save these servers, thereâs clearly a problem here Blizzard
Blizzard loves to turn a blind eye to this issue and is becoming a crime for them to continue to collect money and force us to pay for transfers when in reality they could evaluate low population servers and come with a solution whether merge with another low pop server (other faction of course) or allow free server transfers. As of now Sulfuras has basically died with everyone transferring to Benediction (mostly) and it literally takes long hours to fill a group or even find one. Itâs to the point that we log in to be there for hours to âmaybeâ run a single dungeon. Auction House is empty and the very minimal items available are impossible to afford. In-game GMs of course wipe their hands to the fact that they canât solve any of this and recommend to come to the forums which a lot of times is another waste of time since Blizzard could care less as long as they are receiving the monthly subscription and extra $$ from transfers, etc. I think itâs very unfair specially when some of us have dedicated long hours of gameplay on this game we love and now it would cost a fortune to be able to transfer all the characters in said dead server. I beg Blizz to finally do something and balance the factions and servers that are hurting of this situation.
