Dear Blizz,
I have too many alts, and I can hardly leave this main DH to even gear up a single other toon with a legendary cloak. I think it’s a good trade to sacrifice some of the Azerite rewards in exchange for being able to go ahead and start a Horrific vision on your alts.
You did it for legion and other expansions, can you please go ahead and implement it now?
I am hoping you will be more alt friendly, and so far, 8.3 is definitely not.
Would be nice to skip it all after 12 times thru. I just want them to make cleansing corrupted gear available for all alts. If i can get the crap I should be able to cleanse the crap.
I have not gotten the cloak yet. Not sure where I am in the chain. I just went back to the forge after going to Pandaria. I am not sure what I need to do next. I am not doing this on another character. I just simply don’t need it.
The purpose of having people repeat most of the questline on every alt is to make them so bored and frustrated they stop playing their alts, and maybe even go play some other game and leave the game to the people who imagine they are hardcore players.
You can skip parts of the questline. The parts you can’t skip are 1) acquiring the cloak 2) the quests where you end up getting like 5 vessels and some gear.
I don’t know how much more “alt friendly” they need to make the cloak. Its extremely fast to get on an alt. It even has built in catch up mechanics to leveling it.
Why make it “alt friendly” at all if they are achieving their goal of discouraging casuals from getting it, while giving elite players who are addicted to online simming and spreadsheeting everything a huge power boost?
My alt got a mission for an essence upgrade. It’s a stealth mission, so it can’t be completed with the minions required to keep the cost from being 600 war resources.
Let’s see, go farm 600 war resources. Nah, with a mechanic like this in the game, it’s pretty clear they don’t want newly leveled players to have that essence. That character will do whatever.
I just thought the quest line story was garbage and too long the first time. Did it a second time when I wasn’t tired, and still thought it was lengthy garbage.
Making myself do it too many more times just isn’t going to happen.
Wow, lie much? Maybe you can print your own war resources. Let’s see, at 40 war resources per world quest, that’s 15 world quests you are claiming you can complete in 30 minutes. Including travel time.
It sounds like it’s been many months since you’ve played the game, outside of raid logging of course.
Nobody could travel around to get those in that 30 minute timeframe. Why should I do that? To make you happy you got away with some clearly false lie?
