These people sell to the uninitiated who don’t feel like putting the work in themselves. I do not think that is a vital part of any community
Just to add to your solid point, they are also not allowed tk advertise in LFD so that pretty much leaves one avenue.
Annoys me sometimes too, tbh. But j just ignore it. If it bothers you so much, why not turn off trade chat? It is all runs and guild recruiting anyway.
- Selling in game services for gold isn’t against the terms. Blizzard isn’t going to ban them if they aren’t breaking the EULA.
- Trade chat is exactly where it is best to post those sort of things
- Don’t like what is said in the Trade Channel, you can also /leave trade
- There is also addons available that also blocks certain things said in the trade.
Then right click report them.
Further if your ignore list is full just right click report and it will put them on ignore until you log out.

Is spamming against the Eula?
Yes. Also they tended to be connected to sites that offered other shady services such as selling entire accounts and leveling services. And these sites usually were involved in spyware and account theft.
Blizzard can’t police Google. They can only control what happens in their game. If you see someone linking one of those sites in trade chat that would be a violation. But simply saying “Selling +10 carries” is not since it’s assumed that means in-game gold.
If they are selling services in the trade chat for gold, such as carries, then it isn’t against the EULA. You can report them as many times as you like, Blizzard won’t ban them because they’re not doing anything wrong.

Blizzard banned gold sellers, now they should ban service sellers for doing the same thing.

She have the right to use that channel without need of tolerate spam. Is not fair have to leave “something” because there are people doing inappropriate or annoying things there.

While it is true that this is a legit use for the trade channel, there are players that do spam. A lot. Like once a minute.
You can /ignore them. You can report them. But they always seem to have a million alts to start the same crap again.
There are also players from other servers who spam /1. Unfortunately, you can’t /ignore them. That only seems to work for players from your server. I really don’t like reporting players, but there is really no choice.
And I shouldn’t have to leave a channel because some idiot is abusing it.
I agree completely… I don’t have a problem with the guys from our server… they’re not spamming. But these level ones that are either from gold selling sites or other players from off server… Every 15 seconds or so the same message… It gets annoying.
This isn’t about normal traders.
