Second time that happend.
I was on a solo shuffle match, i lost the first round and another player leave, i lost around 20 points with no option to remount.

This can be avoided by refraining from losing.

Someone leave at the end of the first match, i lose the first match but maybe i would win the others. why i have to lose rating of an uncomplete match? and no, im not think that i should have gained rating, it have to remaind on 0
At the very least you should break even. Shuffle is RNG enough without leavers(still running rampant) taking away your opportunity to equalize.

It’s also possible that you would lose other matches too though. This is why you only get rating based off of the actual rounds you played.

My statement is not trolling. Rating is calculated based on whether you win or lose the round. You lost the round to someone near your MMR, so you lose rating.

You know that this can be an exploit in a bad use for trolling others right? i mean someone can join to your match and leave after the first lose, and sadly you were in his team, thats not fair right? and we are not speaking of 5 rounds that its 84% of the entire match, we are speaking of 1 round that its the 16% of the match
Its not even close to the 50% of the entire match, that cant decide if you need lose or win rating
i really dont get it why i have to explain this, its simple logic
i wasnt the leaver and im getting punished too for an uncomplete match

zuzhi you’re making no sense, you lost the round. unfortunately you weren’t able to play and win other rounds to off set the loss. would you prefer we go to the old method where you would get 5 wins 0 losses then someone leaves on round 6 and you get nothing?
it really doesnt happen that often, the punishment for leaving is high and doesnt happen often unless youre in the 900 rating bracket .

Why does it matter? In either situation, what you propose would be unfair. Does fairness only matter when it benefits you? So if someone destroys you match one, they get 0 rating for it, because of what? That’s fair to you?

The match wasnt complete, just 1 round, dont even close to the half of the entire match, i even cant play with the other team

Each round win is 21 points or so or whatever depending on your mmr etc.
had you went 6-0 it would reward you 126 points to advance.
5-1? 105 points.
You lost 1 round. that is -21 points. 0-1
-21 points.
Now for those games that people do leave; I believe there should be a priority queue added as you suffer your time waiting just for a leaver to rage.
Maybe there is already a system for that in place? idk.
