I’m sure there is but I can’t list it here… look on these forums and there should be a statement about the HS tourny on the front page

Really wish I hadn’t looked, because now it seems that its “not enough” for a lot of people. Ugh this train just keeps on going -_-

inb4 wikipedia is biased fake news

What do you think Araharuken?

Fair or not?

Well the holocaust didn’t happen over night, it was years of demonization and disrespectful language towards Jewish people that allowed that to happen. We might not be at holocaust levels just yet, but the way government talks about certain people, it’s heading in that direction.

Agreed.

Ignorance + rabid emotionalism = censorship, ostracism … this is how it all began.

It scares me that people who think they are on the “right” side of this don’t see that they have become what they revile most.

It’s happening again, but this time they aren’t coming for the Jews.

Context is everything.

Question here. Will this be enough? I feel its not enough.

I was fine with the original punishment.

For me, yes this is enough.

I truly hope this appeases most.

Who are they coming for Saw you and Elae talking about something lol

As for the post I think thats a more fair punishment. Plus he had his winnings returned. Did Blizzard jump the gun in terms of punishment? I don’t know, I’m not an expert in that area, but was talking with someone a few days ago on punishments of cheaters vs blitz’s punishment. And Blizzard themselves has laid out their values, their stance, and having learned a few things earlier that I know there is a legal obligation within businesses to protect shareholders (fiduciary deal or something). Besides that, I’m not the tin-hat kind of person and will take it at their word.

LOL Elae and I kind of went off on a tangent. Just ignore it.

it seems like enough thus far. they should probably make a separate version of their game products for countries that have those kinds of issues. some guy speaking about freedom shouldnt result in some dude in taiwan having his whole family/or job threatened, nor should it threaten the stability of the american blizz products. if china is that sensitive, they shouldnt be going for global public venues cause people will say things.

No can do, now I want in D: xD Also I saw your post about being enough? I satisfies me. All I wanted was SOMETHING from Blizzard, some kind of statement. It took them too long I think and they could have responded faster in light of this thing really blowing out of the water WAY MORE than it needed to - spurred on by western vocal outrage - but it satisfies me. Like you said though, who knows if it will be enough.

Idk my gut tells me this it won’t change anything. But we have to see when comes to blizzcon. Then again, my gut is also telling me it wants some junk food. I think I go grab some >.>

But why the casters? They literally did nothing wrong but laugh, and honesty I would’ve done the same. I wouldn’t know what to do in that situation as a professional caster, they ducked their heads down so people can’t see their reaction. I felt like it was more of a “WoW I can’t believe that just happened”.

This whole situation is stupid imo. Still look forward to the madness following blizzcon lol I’ll be glued to the news come that day.

What’s funny is that no matter how much people might be against China lots of products have a bit of Chinese-make in them. You can go as much as you want without having to buy products from China but our market is world wide. USA is a giant melting pot

Silver, could you link the source where Blizzard resolved the issue? I am keen to read it online, thanks!
