If people want to pay attention to Blizzard’s real crime by the way, it’s in this thread here; The real crime of Blizzard

Thanks

Okay this is getting a lot of attention. And I mean a lot of it.

They could of gave the guy a warning. But what is done is done.

I mean, you can still get guns in Australia. Living in rural areas, many, if not most farmers will have them for shooting foxes, rabbits, kangaroo’s, etc.

But to answer your question, there isn’t a whole lot of violent crime. It still exists, naturally, but it’s not something you passively worry about, even if you live in a crappy area of a city.

But maybe that’s just me.

In actual metrics, I’m pretty sure we’re below the US per capita in most things like that.

Too late. They already forgot it. You can tell by the forums & how boring the game is.

Great post though. Ty for that. I agree.

I do not disagree. I’m just aware, from trying to fight this notion that this is a Modern Issue. This is a human issue, relating to how we allow people to fall apart for whatever reason. Once the dog is Rabid unfortunately it is too late. (AKA Once they lost all reason/will to live). We need to reach out to our struggling families before it goes too far.

That just means that the government of USA is anti-China that’s all.

Wow. I truly do sympathize. So-called “Political Correctness” is just a form of censorship by another name imho. As the road to hell is paved with good intentions, claims that PC was well-intended won’t change my view. It’s been nothing but awful and valid criticisms of bad policies have been silenced – here in the US as well.

My question though was really, are these crimes being committed with guns? Or other implements? The UK banned guns a few years back and citizens have seen a sharp rise in home invasions (burglars are emboldened by the knowledge that the average homeowner isn’t armed) and knife crime has risen to such heights that some idiot in Parliament actually proposed that all knives be equipped with RFID tags. True story.

Won’t ever happen. Too many of them have businesses and properties that are held by or tied to Chinese financing. No one cared to think about the consequences back then either. So
“Go on, take the money and run…whoo hoo hoo!”

Oh I’m sure most of the civilized world can’t compete with US violent death rates.

But why do you think they don’t allow their platform to be used for political stances then? It was clearly stated in their rules to NOT use them as a political stance. The Hearthstone player was acting selfishly and against those rules and I side with Blizzard in banning him. You think the ban was over his ideals but really it was because he broke the rules. If he had said the opposite of that he’d STILL be removed and banned. Y’all need to drink something to wake the hell up and realize thats what it was. And don’t start getting on me with conspiracy crap either.

Oh no the most common weapon of choice is one-punch kills against men, and girls that get killed usually get the life strangled out of them by their crazy ex bfs and things like that. The most comment form of crime for homocide is no weapon other than your bare hands, second most common is knives, firearms are still the third most common though.

Oh boy what kind of sheep you are.

First of all Blizzard is a US company enjoying protections of US laws

If they are aligned with China because they bring in more money.

By all means, let them move to china
And I’ll enjoy BLIZZARD getting f’d left and right by the Chinese government

Have you seen what China did to Apple? To Microsoft? Ofc you don’t because you don’t understand the threat posed by the Chinese government toward the world

Well, people are going to continue finding ways to kill each other regardless of various weapon bans. I was just wondering how effective the gun ban is in deterring violent crime. Your answer didn’t surprise me – for some reason, some people are horribly violent.

That is the point, USA is just don’t want China to keep growing.

Human right? That is just an excuse.

That’s a pretty tin foil hat you got there.

do you know what a Tu Quoque logical fallacy is?

It means “you too”, and is a fallacious argument tactic that tries to claim one person cannot call out another’s wrongdoings because they too are guilty of wrongdoings

Not to say we don’t have our problems, ice is a massive problem and like Elae said, so is DV.

But junkies, drunks and angry boyfriends/husbands are a pretty universal danger everywhere.

Blitzchung’s ban was ridiculously disproportionate in the context of other hearthstone punishments.

If you punish someone for sabotaging an interview, worse than you’d punish someone for actually cheating within in the game, it says a lot about Blizzards values.

If the USA didn’t want China to grow then why is most of our goods come from there?

We keep buying China products and complain about China.

Im i the only one excited for Blizzcon?

Im 100% gonna have a blast seeing how Blizzard tries to control the storm thats gonna fall on them XD
