Good question!
Never said it would be easy. Hey, go to a real store, buy the basics and learn to COOK! Like Gandhi had his people making their own clothes(as an example) to break the power of Brit economics!
Just a thought.

Well the actions might have been extreme, but if people knew how to peacefully protest without harassing police the death toll could have been avoided
Do you know that Falun Gong is a cult right?
Do you know what is considered evil, read “The World’s Ten Evils” part, on their website en .falundafa. org and decide for yourself.
I
You’re seriously defending Tiananmen Square? I was being facetious before but good god.
People like you are why evil happens.
OH yes its the people with rocks the problem. God damnit.
Obvious edgelord detected.
Go away and let the grownups talk.

I did read the tweet. Want to know if it’s deliberate or, as the messages state, the system was overwhelmed by delete requests. Demanding ID is not quite the same as making the process impossible.
And for the record, I agree, demanding a government ID is eerily too much authoritarianism in the name of “protecting the account.” I refused when FB demanded it of me and I would refuse Blizzard too.
If in fact they are blocking the ability to delete your account at all, for any reason, then I would have to say Blizzard is definitely in the wrong here. The ability to perma delete has been around for years. If Blizzard suddenly disabled it in response to this kerfluffle, shame on Blizzard.
One poster in the twitter feed mentioned the option of disabling your bank card and a class-action suit. I’d be interested to see how that goes, since my understanding is that disabling your pay method will get you a ban.
People were railing against the 1968 Olympics Black Power Salute athletes earlier. Defending Tienanmen does not surprise me.
Blizzard is an international brand, with customers in the U.S., the UK, Germany, China, Brazil, South Korea, Australia, France, and others. Warcraft has been an international brand for 25 years. It has served many masters for a long time.
Weong: like all corporations, it serves only one …
$$$
Cause you put so much effort in level a character why do you want to throw all that hard work in the trash?
I’ve become the way I have, because I’m sick of seeing the hard working public where I live be harassed by protesters, we’ve got vegans attacking farmers, we’ve got climate change activists chaining themselves to roads, with plans to fire drones at airports, if me taking a hard line on protesters shifts my alignment to evil, then so be it, I’m evil.
The reality is, with facebook and all the rest of it, it’s not like we can’t access our world leaders, so there’s a way to say your opinion without being violent. There’s no excuse wasting your time in public protests anymore when you can do it safe at home online.
If the company in whose game you created the character offends you to the point where you elect not to do business with it, then why wouldn’t you?
Yes, we can do that here where we have rights as outlined in our constitution , the people in China, ESPECIALLY in the late 80s, had no such luxury. They peacefully protested for DAYS and the Chinese government didn’t acquiesce to anything, the protesters understandably got frustrated, and the Chinese Communist Party responded by murdering them
The fact that you can’t see the difference between the two has left me absolutely flabbergasted and awestruck.
None of what you said is close to either side of the story. Plus, name one “foreign journalist” that’s killed in Tiananmen Square.
Well just cancel the sub uninstall and never look back or at least till a apology is made. Can put the 120’s on ice till a apology is made.
A delete is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
A possibly temporary problem. What if Blizzard refuses to change its position or apologize?
How dare people that want to have better living conditions ruin my commute to work. They should just suck it up. There’s a reason why people do those kind of protest, because the goal is that you then ask the government to stop them. Which then cause double pressure on the government. Because they have to act. If you don’t pressure the government or a company into acting, they will just ignore you. We are lucky that Blizzard is a company that is a lot present on the internet, and so their brand will suffer as long as they don’t fix this in any way really. There is no excuse to let this continue as is. Moreover with Blizzcon coming… it’s asking for it to not do anything.
Well we’re not going to acquiesce to vegan protesters or climate change activists here, anyone trying to stop the planes from flying is no friend of mine.
I mean I’m all for protecting the environment but not at the cost of freedom of movement around the country.
I cook… in the very loosest terms. Does microwaving raw chicken count? Its edible. My gf will never know my laziness when shes not around >.>
