Missing my point. They don’t police the game they created they rely on us the players to fill in a report. That’s not police work. Players are not cops they need to monitor these chat channels.
Well, thats what happened at Tianenmen Square, so guess you are pro China
Also what do you do if that bear is oppressing you, and they have all the guns and equipment while you have nothing?
Do you just sit back and take it for your whole life?
Also is excessive force not a thing to you? If some kid who doesnt know better hits you, would you not agree it would be excessive to beat them unconscious with a club in response?
Blizzard said, on their weibo:
As always, we will defend the pride and dignity of China at all cost.
You weren’t going to anyways.
Personally, I would like to thank Velara for helping me find the conviction to donate money to the Hong Kong protestors. Thank you, Velara.
Looks like an ID check like FB uses when they “log you” out of your account.
Has anyone tried actually deleting their account and not been able to? Please post! Holy carp!
How much did you donate?
You are most welcome !!! How much did you donate, if you don’t mind my asking. I would hope it’s at least the cost of your WoW sub
It’s always been this way since launch. Try again.
Just scroll back to the tweet before I linked.
And still what I do doesn’t affect what will happen in China. I can only try to affect what Blizzard did and condem it. Like you should too.
I thought Tiannenmen Square, a tank refused to run over a protester and that’s the only reason we all know about it?
I’m neither pro-China nor anti-China, but I am pro self-defense, and when people have thrown fruit at me in public it really makes me angry, and the reality is that sometimes you need to be fully armored and more powerful to send a message that such disrespect in your life won’t be tolerated anymore.
If people want to protest, they can do so in some park where they aren’t bothering anyone else, let them gather somewhere out of sight, where they can shout their cause all they want, as long as they keep it away from me and the hard-working public that’s my position.
Is this truly a tyrannical position to take?
So many clueless little people here that have no understanding of how the world works and can’t see past your own poorly formed morals
I pity most of you here, I truly do
The ban this guy for talking about politics super harshly while some loud mouth drunkard in a battleground is allowed to run is mouth non stop talking crap as if the rules don’t apply.
Read the tweet and the whole tweet. Blizzard is requesting ID before deleting. Look at the screens.
Good plan.
We, the spineless gamers, do have one over-riding quality:
OUR WALLETS!
Open 'em up, keyboard warriors!
And if you can buy a non-Chinese product, even if it costs a bit more, DO IT!
Remember the example set in Ireland, by the tenants of Captain Charles Cunningham BOYCOTT!
No… the Tianenmen Square massacre was when hundreds of students gathered in Tianenmen Square to protest against the Communist government, and demand more freedoms. At some point, the protestors got a little uppity and started throwing things at the fully armored and geared cops who were never in any danger, so in repsonse the government sent in the military and opened fire indiscriminately, killing hundreds of students, bystanders, and even foreign journalists.
You read the tweet, they have blocked the four authentification methods.
Asking for real identification cards at this point is the same as blocking the process. And no video game company should ask for real identification, moreover in this context with China. You really want to give your id to a company that is ready to bend over China? I don’t.
Man oh man Blizz stuck their foot in it this time.
Whats something i can buy at 7 eleven thats non chinese?
The owner’s gun?
