Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

That’s right up there with “Read my lips: NO NEW TAXES!”

Funny thing is that the employees are setting up a walkout as we speak. Really does not make the company look good if your own workers show their disagreement with the decisions it makes with a show of disobedience.

…no? We do not have social credits, a single party system, a president for life system, nor do we condone the mass imprisonment and murder of ethnic or ideological minorities

Do we even live in the same reality, you and I?

We already brought freedom and democracy to Iraq, Libya, Syria, how did that work out?

I don’t need to go and read anything. I understand the issue. I simply disagree that Blizzard was out of line.

What every news organization considers genuinely “newsworthy” is seriously debatable.

We’re not asking Blizzard to cut ties with China (as nice as that would be), we just want to make it abundantly clear that we who do not live in China will not take Chinese censorship sitting down, and we will make it cost Blizzard… hopefully more than they would make by obeying Xi Jinpooh

Yes and then you can read the specific ruling why they did it? That’s where the real fun start.

And like I’ve said it would’ve been one thing to remove his prize and ban him for 3 months like they did in the past for a cheater. But banning him for a year and sacking the 2 casters? really? You want to defend that?

This is some high level of back bending for China that Blizzard did.

I mean its comparible to CNN reporting the US bombed a bus full of kids in Syria. When you go on to read the article they say in 4 different places they cant confirm any of this and the US involvement in said operation was to provide the fuel for the vehicles

Take your feelings away and look at things through an objective lens

Sorry I did finally have to leave the house. I’m on my phone now but as for the other points you made I haven’t actually played the game very much at all today because in between posting here I have had work to do. I don’t have the typical job anymore. I have my own business which requires me to sit here at this computer for 8 to 10 hours a day on a good day. I make more money today sitting here at this computer all day then I made 15 years ago in a week so I have every motivation to sit right here. In between all of that it’s really easy to post and read here since I’ve got a few monitors up and running at all times.
beyond that no one is dominating anyting. It’s called responding to other people’s responses and that’s how a discussion works so you know that’s just how life is sometimes.

But realistically, what can you do about it other than cancel your sub and delete your account?

There aren’t enough people willing to do that and who will do that. Posting comments on this forum accomplishes nothing.

I wasn’t insinuating that he’d be logging onto the WoW forums to make a statement about it. This fiasco is all over Twitter, where the President is very vocal. I could easily see him replying to or retweeting one of Mark Kern @Grummz’s tweets on the subject.

Irrelevant to the discussion.

I think they are referring to the whole collusion/conspiracy stuff.

This entire response of yours is irrelevant

What do you think are we doing in the Middle East right now?

He broke a rule, i get it. I disagree with the response. What do you not get?

Minimally everyone should read Mark Kerns’ tweets, linked in the OP.

same as your post.
