I know, i’ve been dealing with the fact that he said something i agree with all day. It’s kinda nauseating.
Tldr, but the main problem people have is how hypocritical their decision was. They have promotional material saying that “everyone has a voice” and the whole bfa expansion was about fighting a power hungry dictator. But their response makes them look like they are bowing to a different power hungry because of possible financial loss. Not practicing what you preach makes you look spineless.
I’m waiting for Trump to weigh in on this.

How dare Bobby “Kowtow” Kotick–very bad man, I’ve met him, he smells–stand against the will of the American people? I bet he wants to impeach me, like a typical Xi supporter![/quote]
I am firmly grounded in reality and the reality is, Blizzard will continue doing business with China and most players will continue playing, despite this issue.
You forgot running over unarmed protesters with actual tanks. And no you’re not the abnormal one.
Jesus Sweet Christ if he comes down on it i might just get drunk.
What, WoW forums are where you gauge your news?
Blizzard employee’s staged a walk out yesterday, every major news source is reporting on the hearthstone situation, a popular hearthstone commentator is refusing to work with Blizzard going forwards, pro players are denouncing Blizzard openly, even at events, epic games are taking shots at them saying they would never censor someone for their views, Blizzard had to set their own sub reddit to private after the news came out about what they did, the situation was number 1/2 trending world wide and then the next day boycottblizzard was trending world wide.
There isn’t a single news source or reputable person that isn’t critical of Blizzards actions right now, only some random chinese shills on this forum.
You need to actually go read some news.
okay you’re right. Which means I can play world of Warcraft and still not be happy with the Chinese government or something that blizzard did. Thanks for proving that part of the argument I guess
They don’t believe what everyone knows as fact. Russia interfered with our election, and continues to do so.
You’re not already?
I recommend whiskey and maraschino.
2oz and .5oz respectively. It’s a bit like an old fashioned, but it’s neither as bitter nor as sweet.
“Grandmasters is the highest tier of Hearthstone Esports and we take tournament rule violations very seriously,” Blizzard wrote. “While we stand by one’s right to express individual thoughts and opinions, players and other participants that elect to participate in our esports competitions must abide by the official competition rules.”
I mean from Blizzards point of view thats all there is to it. From a Chinese perspective, they arent given the freedom of freespeech and that shouldnt be news. This player said his free speech has been violated. While I agree all places should have free speech it isnt like this is new or he was afforded free speech to begin with
Huh? As if Trump is going to log on wow forums and talk on this. I give it a really low chance that will happen.
But some people here cannot properly read.
The subbreddit was locked by someone at reddit who then deleted his account and moved on, not by blizzard.
dont we have that in the US aka central bank aka private institution that pulls all the levers?
Except the player is from Hong Kong, which while technically part of China in a weird convoluted sort of way, is under a contract signed by China that grants them autonomy and self rule for at least 30 more years.
One need not be perfect in order to see the problems elsewhere.
By saying what you did, you acknowledge your problem, for you so not deny it.
In fact, the vitriol of your entire response confirms the severity of what occurs, if you and other pro-commie china shills are continuing with these attacks
That’s true. 2019 revenues are not yet recorded. I will be interested to see how that shakes out, particularly in light of the Netease partnership and D4 mobile sales. I suspect that Asia is becoming a larger market share.
The relationship between Blizzard and China will continue because it’s profitable. In fact, most US companies do business with China, as do most US consumers.
Nope, it was locked by a pro Chinese mod and covered up by the other 3 mods claiming a “rogue mod” was to blame and he had since deleted his account.
Didn’t take long to figure out there had only been 4 mods for months and figure out which mod deleted it.
I didnt know that, thanks for that info. Serious btw.
