The STORY. Canon has us winning both warfronts but we don’t see it in game and wouldn’t have known it except we were told at Blizzcon.
How? Easy. Make quests for the Alliance where it shows us beating the horde into retreat and make quests for the horde where it shows them being beat into retreating.
Matter of fact, give them a taste of Teldrassil where they’re teamed up with a few NPCs and the Alliance is killing them. They have to try to save them, but of course, they can’t.
There is literally no other reason for refusing to show it other than protecting the horde from canon.

Apparently the Alliance retook Ashenvale back in Cata, too.
You’d only find this out if you read Wolfheart, since it’s never seen in-game.
Alliance victories happen off-screen.

I would be down for that. Only seems reasonable. Doubt they would do it though as technically that should be occurring before 8.3

Agreed that we need more in-game butt kicking. Sadly Horde gets limelight because a banshee makes money. /sad

But can’t have the horde lose a single thing? We saw that in 8.1 which was supposed to be the revenge patch for the night elves.
Horde can wipe out entire alliance races and destroy their homes, but the alliance race can’t even kill a single horde NPC, not even in the revenge patch.

Night warrior should’ve had MUCH more weight and in-game orc murder instead of seeing Tyrande get mad and kill the orcs that surrounded her and a small cinematic with her and Malfurion killing some small caravan.

Thank you great Blizzard for protecting the Horde from irrelevant fictional losses.

Blizzard takes requests?!?

Meanwhile the guy who is responsible for all of this gets 4 GCI cinematics of how great and honorable he is, while the night elves got nothing after said event and anduin was only there as a background character sometimes.
People still saying that there’s no horde bias is actually mind blowing, well most of them are trolling anyway but still…

Alliance get to be the “pretty pure no bad” faction, yet I want to see more of the dark side of the Alliance. I want to see Tyrande and Malfurion going ham on some forsaken, I wanna see CGI cinematics of other faction leaders aside from sweet ol priesty boy. I want us to get Horde treatment!

I want to see the Alliance IN GAME put the hurt on the horde.

It’s no wonder blizz keeps the faction war alive, when so many people clamor for it I guess.

Because faction war is good if it’s actually 2 sided and both sides lose just as much? BfA was written purely from a horde perspective

If they only give alliance one thing, I sure don’t want it to be the story.

Alliance story: Let’s make friends with Kul’tirans! Defend Teldrassil/Kul’tiras for 0.000002 seconds and oh look Dwarves and Kul’tirans let’s make friends!
Horde Story: Zandalar friends, aggressions towards the alliance and ourselves, let’s ally with the Zandalari and the Mag’har! Elf murder! Let’s overthrow a leader!

I dont disagree it was written from a horde perspective. I’m just tired of the faction war theme in general is all. Same war different day yawn.

No one cares about the alliance. you should switch over to the faction that matters.

Of course you don’t. Horde want everything going their way and feel threatened anytime there is a possibility that the Alliance will get something nice.

All but 2 of my 15 120s are alliance. I don’t want it because the story is crap and of no value to me. So if they are going to give alliance only one thing I sure don’t want it to be the story.
Ya i’m always internally debating these days about focusing more horde now, because various issues on alliance… Its been a problem I have since I took a multi year break after the dumpster fire that was WoD.
I don’t know actual statistics, but felt like in MoP both sides had health appeal and didn’t leave me feeling torn about which I was playing.
