If someone punches me in the nuts I would not thank them. When I play retail i feel like every 20 mins I get punched in the nuts. It’s a painful experience at max level. If they didn’t kill off Twinks I would do that but… it was the last thing that was good and it was removed.
At launch Twinking was alive and well again. The Twink community came back and was excited. However like everything else in Retail the cry babies ruin it and wanted the single greatest thing you can do in this game removed. So sad that people, that aren’t even staying in that BG bracket, needed something removed!! Seriously eliminate the one thing keeping some people subbed.
Now when you turn off experience you are separated again which sucks. It makes it unplayable because there aren’t Twink BGs that actually pop. First of all they never should of added Exp to PvP to begin with. However at launch everyone was together as it should be but… wahh… the bracket I am in i get killed even though I am only going to be here for 2 hours… So they removed Twinks.
So all the Twinks unsubbed again. The sad tail of Retail, where they just change things till people can’t play. It’s just unimaginable they would get rid of an entire aspect of the game.
This post is why folks see some as chicken littles. You folks use every excuse to say WoW is dying and Blizzard is desperate. They have been giving out 3 days trials for years, so you and your ‘Amen corner’ can just stop with the ‘reaching’.
The problem is why even does Blizzard put themselves in this position? If they released a finely polished well tested game in the first place. It wouldn’t need to be saved. Players wouldn’t have to be won back. Why do something wrong intentionally to know that you have to fix it latter? That is a terrible business model.
See, I can appreciate your passion. But I find this whole thread funny because if feels you are saying, and please pardon my paraphrasing, “Blizz, you dare to give me 3 free days of play time! I throw it back at you and will pay full price in one month!”
They aren’t having taste test for dog crap at the supermarket though. It is of a product that you might like and it might actually be good. Which Retail isn’t. When I see a free sub to retail to me its the same as taste testing dog crap. I am not interested. I know it isn’t good.
I am interested in Classic and World of Warcraft when the game used to be good. That is a product worth sampling.
Well here is the deal I am a long term Blizzard supporter since 2000. That is 19 years of games, I was a big Diablo player. They managed to destroy not one but both of my main games in their expansions.
With that said I will gladly PAY for a superior product and hope they take my money and produce more superior products because I will enjoy them. The millions of fans will enjoy them. I just want them to stop making terrible expansions. Just stop, go back to the drawling board and start using the old game philosophies in Diablo and Vanilla. Blizzard had the best games of all time.
I want Blizzard to be successful but as a consumer they don’t have any product worth my time. If I want a current Diablo experience I log into Path of Exile. If I want a WoW experience I am forced to play on private servers.
This is a problem that Blizzard has to fix. The ball is in their court, hope they finally do something with it.
Not true. I have not purchased BfA and still have zero plans to do so. Yet this is the 3rd time I have been gifted 3 days since I quit playing at the end of Legion. Also my current gift offer expires on the 28th of July which is after the next stress test.
I also have zero plans to redeem this gift as I find the current state of the Live game to be a waste of time.
Still not going to redeem those 3 days. Also, not going to do the stress test. I’ll just keep waiting until the day of actual reckoning arrives, cash in all my gold on live for game time, make a troll mage, and get back to playing good WoW again.
