You want to trade? Seriously?
How about even more mounts? We got TONS of horses XD
I’ve ground out all the allied races on both sides and it never bothered me. I would gladly trade an easier grind for a free mount. None of the grinds have been difficult in the slightest imo and I plan on doing both sides anyways.
This entire post the OP and others arguing how hard the Alliance have it completely ignore the fact that only Alliance has access to 10% faster rep from a racial.
It also conveniently stacks with all other rep bonuses so even when something like DMF or the Anniversary is happening, Alliance still has access to 10% more rep than Horde via the Human racial.
In a game where 90% of things are locked behind rep, this is an amazing bonus.
Only if you play Human specifically, not Alliance, and only up until you hit exalted, after which it promptly becomes the worst racial in the game.
…“All the extra hours”? What extra hours? Mechagon is an hour run. The reputation is faster than Vulpera ever would have been. I’d honestly say Mechagon’s requirements are much easier to get done.
I heavily agree with this.
I was utterly confused with how simple unlocking horde AR’s this expansion was versus alliance. The amount of dungeons required to be done, even if you’ve done, was frankly ridiculous and tedious.
Alright, talk to Blizz, lets make this happen.
Eh, speak for yourself, I had an Alliance with all reps at exalted ready to go (except Naz but Naz can go freeze in the deepest circle of Hell) so I had to not only boost Koshae here with my SL boost but also grind an extra rep that I would not have had to had I had a Horde character in that circumstance instead.
Well, at that point you can’t really fault Blizzard for that, other than having a two faction system to begin with. If you didn’t have any horde characters for this long, then the issue is you’re changing factions this go around.
Yeah I can, the inverse wasn’t true, if you’d wanted to step into Alliance for five minutes to make a Mechagnome it would be doable. If you want to step into Horde for five minutes to make a Vulpera, tough cookies, get out there and grind.
I did, but don’t tell me I can’t fault them for that, that is precicely the kind of thing you can fault them for.
Okay, but you’re complaining about not being able to jump on a faction’s reward when you don’t even play that faction until now. Like I agree it’s not the greatest thing ever, but it is a bit silly.
I wouldn’t be complaining if Mechagon rep wasn’t neutral, or if Vulpera also was; it was perfectly fine for Maghar, Kultiran, Dark Iron and Zandalari. Because those were 1:1 even.
It is not silly, fair is fair.
Using your logic means no one should be complaining about diapergnomes since they will be even less popular. You are in no place to tell people what their intention of grinding is.
This isn’t about which one is interesting it’s about which one is easier to unlock
Well technically you can meet all the requirements for Mecha Gnomes on a Horde character and then just do the scenario on an alliance character. The same can not be said of the Vulpera when you reverse it. So if anything that’s a point towards Mecha Gnomes being easier to unlock.
It is really hard to argue that 8.1 and Battle of Dazar’alor were not crushing defeats for the Horde and overwhelming victories for the Alliance. That patch basically undoes the entire first half of the Horde war campaign and prevents any kind of large scale counter-attack by destroying the Zandalari fleet.
Yeah. It’s totally laziness.
Not sheer burnout of logging in to do the same thing every day for marginal amounts of progress.
Definitely not that. Couldn’t be.
WAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
-Alliance players when discussing absolutely anything.
Horde had to go through raids for their war campaign, which we needed for the Zandalari unlock, if I recall – G’huun for Uldir, AND Jaina for Dazar’alor (both end bosses.)
Your dungeons you have to do are a far cry easier to put together for your allied races.
There’s been give and take on BOTH sides of the fence in this, and previous expansions. Lighten up and just play the game.
Rep for those two was also significantly slower and more time gated than the 7.0 reps Horde needed as well. I’m still mad as fel about that.
