There’s an idea, add non-event questing into the pool of event currency so we still have to grind out world content that a lot of people don’t even want to do anymore, and still have time to run all of the new event stuff… No thanks.
I didn’t do my anniversary chores today. Am I looking at 4 weeks of work now? Is there enough time?
Anyone notice how they knew participation would be low and pre-filled NPCs into the crowds that try to act like players. I know they’ve been doing this for years in the cities, but cmon man. They really assumed they’d have to have some filler.
3 Weeks if you do most of the weeklies for an HD remaster of some of the best tier sets of all time doesn’t seem like a big ask.
Then they get lower in cost and eventually we’ll be getting more bronze. As long as you do the easy peasy weeklies getting most of not all the T2 remodels will be easy.
Now if they want to cut it down to 2 weeks okay sure. But this isn’t some silly Halloween glamour these again are remasters of some of the best Tier sets in game. I don’t think we should be earning them in a day.
TWW world bosses drop normal equivalent gear on Champion track.
Statistically, I don’t think you can even do it all in 40 days… so I think it might be reasonable to seek some middle ground.
Even if you can do it in 30-40 days, that would be an absolutely enormous amount of content to no-life through.
Not EVERYTHING in the game can be a grind. That is how you quickly burn people out and they become “tourists” as you put it. That is why we have holiday events, Darkmoon Faire, Brewfest, etc., etc.
Things to do where you can say “okay taking a break from the grind lets just have pure fun for a minute”. The Anniversary event isn’t handing out Hero gear here, there is no reason to make it take nearly a month to get a single set of purely cosmetic gear. That is just stupid.
MMO is a game of grind. If you are not into grinding, please dont play an MMO. You would be frustrated everyday from start to finish becoz it’s all grind.
You would have a toon… start from nothing… weak toon. But you would gain gear and powers… but you have to work for it… earn it. The more time you give to the game, the more powerful your toon would become. That’s the game.
Tourists expects all the goodies in one sitting. Sorry, that is not this game.
So did you just intentionally skip over the part where we talk about grinding current content since it doesn’t fit your argument or are you just not able to comprehend what you read?
MMO is a game of massively multiplayer online. This specific game happens to be an RPG. There’s nothing in there that states that every single thing you get in the game has to come with a multi-month grind.
I suppose this checks out, one day of an event that spans all the way into January and people are already angry that they can’t have everything already.
Just do your weeklies and you will have what you want before the event is over.
WoW has been a game of grind since Vanilla 20 years ago.
How did i know it? Becoz i did it. You will know this in time.
It costs too much and we don’t have any money
You can’t “have everything” even if you do every available event for four weeks… so it’s not unreasonable to desire some sort of middle ground.
i am at 30-35 tokens after i did every thing that gives them as rewards and they do give max at max lvls
I’ve also been playing since 2004. So you can try again with a real argument instead acting like the amount of time you’ve played means anything at all.
Good thing the event lasts for over 8 weeks then, isn’t it? If you absolutely must have everything you can get everything, but there is more than enough time for most people to get just what they want.
I agree, you need to at least get the first set in the first week
if thing go right for me ill have my first set with the reset tuesday
also hallowseve might give some from the HH fight
And you dont agree that this game is not a game of grind?
How many Scholmance and Stratholme did we do?
How many repeated dungeon runs we did in TWW… starting from Normal then Heroic then Mythic 0 then to M+… all the same dungeons but differing difficulty. Cant you see? It’s a game of grind.
