They are going to be hitting these Addons it’s confirmed …… and we are getting built in dbm at home in July it’s not going to be nearly as good. When will blood learn that modders do everything better then them when it comes to gameplay improvements and qol addons

I think it will probably be fine, DBM has some nice customization options that 95% of people don’t use but it will be easy to match base DBM.

They have a ton of addons they just mostly don’t talk about them using the in-game chat. Especially not damage meters.
They didnt definitively say they were reducing the functionality of those addons…
But if Blizz does it right and starts designing encounters in a way that doesn’t really require addons in addition to adding an in game notification system, I could see it working fine. But that’s a big IF
Really, they just need to reduce the “skill” focus and go back to a “gear” focus

I’d like them to design encounters to be top tier out-of-the-box. The less time searching for addons and configuring them, the more time doing stuff in Azeroth, the better! Even though I’m now a WeakAura Wizard, it wasn’t quite my idea of fun to become that way, so hopefully other people won’t have to in the future.

I think alot of the addon incorporation will suck. They should make a deal with the addon devs to streamline the process.

I like to track party cds.
I dont want my screen to look like the MDI stream.
I like that they are talking about it but i have a feeling it will hurt players like me more than mythic world first raiders and super casuals.

Can someone link me an article that says we’re getting a Blizz version of DBM in July?
I wouldn’t trust anyone at Blizz to be able to do a simple color by numbers drawing. The chances of getting a base game version of an addon, and it being nearly anywhere as good as its counterpart, is about 0.
People hate nuance on these forums. It’s either 30 keybinds or a 1 button rotation for example. There is no option in between.
It’s either Fyrakk or Patchwerk. There is no option in between.
