I don’t doubt that they want to neuter these addons it doesn’t make it wrong and the built in ones will have to be as good as what we have now. It’s a matter of time

If someday down the road we end up with worse combat addons built in but less over-designed mechanics vomit content, I’m cool with that.

I mean I love the new ability timers and WAs they added recently. If DBM will work as intended this will be great addition to the game.

If external combat addons were to ever be removed, the built in versions would either need to be just as functional, or the content complexity would need to be toned down to make it a similar difficulty to the current content with external addons. They are not going to torpedo their game by breaking addons but designing the game as if people still had them.

  1. No it is not confirmed.
  2. Their version of DBM has been in the game for years, bosses have specific audio cues for what mechanic is happening.
  3. The entire point of Ion’s previous interview was talking about how they need to make addons redundant before thinking about removing anything.

PCGamer and rags like it could not find their own rectum while being crammed inside it.
