I was about to play a Blitz with my wife, and when I entered, I got disconnected. In less than a minute, I logged back in, and to my surprise: I was kicked from the blitz, I was given a deserter penalty, another person was put in my place (leaving my wife in the blitz), and when it finished, they won, and I was given an additional 1-hour deserter penalty and lost 100 points… What can you do to fix this error? I was unjustly deducted 100 points since I re-entered before the Battleground door even opened and wasn’t given any opportunity to re-enter because my spot was taken.
Afraid not! Nothing can be done to fix that. They have no idea if you disconnected on your own or by reasons beyond your control. They can not remove the debuff or restore lost points.
That doesn’t happen unless you repeatedly desert in one day. It stacks from 15 minutes on up.
Thats the weird part of the problem, I´ve NEVER leaved a blitz or solo shuffle in my life. For that reason I did this post, because maybe some GM can help me + bug report.
Who’s to say why you disconnected? Server issue, connection issue, ISP issue, or a force disconnect on your part. It could be any of those issues and if they make an exception to policy for you, they’d have to do it for everyone.
Oh! Yeah, that’s not supposed to happen. Hopefully someone at Blizz can help you sort this out.
Thats no the point of the post. Tell me, is it normal that I was kicked out of the “Blitz” while my duo was still in it? Is it normal that it kicked me out just 15 seconds after the disconnection and, on top of that, wouldn’t let me back in? Is it normal that it let another person join as if it were a normal BG?
If you feel that you’ve encountered a bug, the reporting it in the Bug Report forum would be the right place to post.
There are no GMs on the forums.
And:
- Getting kicked out of the “Blitz” while your duo was still in it.
- Being kicked out 15 seconds after a disconnection and then not being allowed to re-enter.
- Another person being added to the match as if it were a normal BG.
