I just don’t understand how people with 1700+, 1800+ Ratings still don’t know how to play objectives. I just lost a Deephaul Ravine match when we were up 1408 - 1220 after dominating, and my entire team then decides to just fight in the middle after the enemy team capped both carts and I’m screaming in chat to get to a cart because all we need is one. NO ONE LISTENED to me and i was the only one trying to fight to cap a cart. The sad thing is the enemy team still got the flag, keeps both carts and came back to win. all we needed to do was get one cart ONE dam cart. So dam frustrating that you lose games because of complete incompetence.

If everyone were this clueless, you’d have an incredibly high win rate. Don’t worry, your teammates will be your opponents in future, helping you rack up ratings.

I just lost 3 games in a row right now, people with 2k rating who don’t take orbs or focus on the orb with the most charges or know how to click on a base.

Maybe its just me and my bad luck, but its been close to a month and 1768 is the highest rating have gotten in 98 matches.
Just lost the new BG in BGB because some 1900 rated players didn’t realize they were on the alliance team and saw horde had capped carts and thought it was for them. They didn’t play carts and let them cap.
I do not understand how you can get to 1900 rating and not know what team you are on.
Feels like some people can luck their way to 1800-1900 but if you make it a serious goal, then you get every obstacle in your way, lol.

Agreed. in addition to a skills test to play an online video game that people are paying to play they should also have to get a license from the US government to que as well as a background check and mount insurance.

The problem is the massive gap between CR and MMR. A 1400 CR player with a 2400 MMR is not the same as a 2400 CR player with a 2400 MMR… YET the game sees the two as the same. More weight needs to be put on actual CR or MMR badly needs to be adjusted to better reflect actual player ability.
I had a 2k game the other day on my alt and there was a 1400 rogue that had never been past 1800 in any bracket. We asked them to go LH and they said they would. They went to LH and sat there. Didn’t cap it. Just sat. Then 3 minutes later we get WW, LH still isn’t capped and they were running to mines. The other team’s disc priest, who died at WW, ran ALL the way to LH, PAST THE ROGUE, and capped lh.

Yeah, that’s definitely what i want, a mini-quiz right before i enter a BG. It would be so much fun.
Well last night was a complete nightmare I lost 101 Rating, went 2-9, Lost an average of 16 Rating per loss and the 2 matches I did win I gained 5 & 7 Rating. Dam my only goal is to hit 1800 so I can complete the transmog set but i fear I will never make it and that is pretty sad if you ask me

Losing four games in a row hurts your chances of pushing your rating. The fourth loss in particular can cause a substantial drop in MMR, and the decrease isn’t linear. To avoid this, if you’ve lost three games in a row and care about your rating, it’s better to stop queuing for that character for a while. Your fourth game will likely be with the same teammates who contributed to your previous losses.

Trust me when I tell you that it’s best not to keep queuing when you hit a loss streak. Take a break and try again another day.
