Has anyone noticed that you are facing the same group constantly in Blitz? I just had 3 matches in a row with the same healer, tank and 2 dps. Extremely coordinated every single time. Not sure if its just a coincidence or what, but this morning has been the 4th time this last week I’ve noticed this.
I know healers can duo queue with someone.
There is a belief that blitz is starting to see syncers, but, AFAIK, it’s impossible to guarantee you all wind up on the same team
I was gonna say the same thing. May end up in the same one depending on participation.
Ya sync queue people have found a way.
In epic bgs, I’ve noticed the system assigns players to specific groups in the bg instance’s raid before the players even zone in. So, when a premade raid doesn’t join the game, you’ll see groups 1 to 4 remain empty while the other groups fill up with pugs.
I wonder if there’s a way to get your bg instance’s raid/group IDs after the queue pops before you hit the join button.
Uh oh here comes the gaslighter lol
they are MMR balanced, you are running into people who share your MMR.
Odds are they queue at the same time as you when you just finished a game against them. I often see the same DPS, but they can also be on the opposite team. Those are the people you need to beat consistently to move up.
It’s not unusual to see several of the same people in one play session.
There could be some exploitive shenanigans at play, but maybe not. Without disabling chat, those inclined may share discord info with up to their entire team, or just use pings, chat, and situational awareness to be effective. I’m not above babysitting one of my healers, intentionally staying with them or seeing another player that’s topping the damage meters and going where they are so that I’m safer and that objectives near me may be done more effectively. The PVP community is small and the blitz participants are a small portion of that, you’re going to see a lot of the same folks. By all means Blizzard is welcome to ban queue syncers, but that is unlikely. Blizzard makes money selling the content, managing every player action in the game isn’t really their focus.
I’ve run into 5 people from the same kelthuzad guild in multiple games before. I assume they are duo que’ing healer and dps x 2 and a solo dps and just waiting until they all get the same pop. Can’t be a fast process, and you can’t guarantee you’re on the same team either.
I rarely see this but when You are at 2k+ mmr the ques are longer because you don’t have the same amount of people playing at that level and you play against the same folks. Rbgs is notorious for that to as well. I was in a 2k team and we played Friday nights and we played the same couple teams all night.
Drop your mmr and you will see all kinds of new people
^ This. In MMR ranges where less people are playing either to higher MMR or time of day, you will see the same people quite often back to back.
There is no way to have full actionable evidence of this unless Blizzard sends out spies into discord communities and catches people in the act. In other words, it is not going to happen. ![]()
This makes no sense blizzard knows everything that is happening in the game. They simply need to enforce their own rules
They already commented long ago they had no intentions of trying to police third party apps.
If a set of players keep queuing at the same time and only take synced queue pops (and drop/miss other queue pops), at some point, it crosses over from “maybe it’s just a coincidence” to “yeah, they’re sync queuing.”
especially if everyone reques right after.
Do you have that? would love to see it.
Players can always send in the evidence for them.
premades should not be in blitz
