So, this week (most weeks I think) there are two quests for blitz. You would think that a game that mixes horde and alliance would be pug vs. pug…but that’s not what’s happening.
You’ll notice, especially if you pvp a lot, that there tend to be a lot of people who drop out of blitz 16 after queue pops. And this doesn’t happen nearly as much in other areas. I would guess I see 5-10 people quit out. I think there’s something out there where you can see who is in your lobby. And you get these groups, obviously playing together with like 5-6 people against your pug.
And they get honor. A lot. And they get conq. A lot. And the low-geared pugs get irritated. Last one for me was 1500 group against 1200…in a blitz…how is that possible?
Whoever is directing pvp right now DOES NOT GET IT. Not gear, not ratings, not strategies, not builds, not comps, not balance, not even how to make a graveyard uncampable, nothin’.
I do not mean to offend anybody, but I mean this sincerely from the bottom of my heart: Blizzard PVP team needs some radical adjustment.
If you get that kind of spread then you are in placement games.
Although, there are people who try to q-sync it would only really work at higher MMR late at night and even then they might not get on the same side. Also, since they removed the ability to “decline” on queue pop it is going to make it a real PITA to try to sync queues. I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
They should still remove the x/16 filler message, though.
