This is also failed logic. The reason why people leave is because of bad design. Penalizing player for leaving because of design issues only creates more problems.
Increasing the penalty doesn’t fix anything. You now just lose more players in Que and extend Que times hurting the community overall.
What we want to do and the point of the thread is to NOT WASTE PLAYERS TIME! Which means getting less players to leave. Having less players kicked. Having to refill less.
This is how you fix things. Sometimes you got to take a birdseye view of the problem and find the better solution which I have laid out for everyone.
Clearly it’s not and the suggestions I’ve made would vastly make the game better.
No content is being removed. You are only improving the existing content.
You aren’t making any valid points. Lets make the game better for EVERYONE! We do that by having better player agency. More options on how to play the game to maximize fun and attaining loot. Lets get players geared up and having fun while doing it! Good day!
Random dungeons and BG’s are random for a reason, you can’t simply pick and choose which ones you can queue into otherwise it’s not random. If you want to queue for specific dungeons/BG’s then don’t use RDF
Which is quite honestly a very annoying thing to do, if you don’t want to get queued into Deadmines then use LFD instead of RDF. You shouldn’t make it everyone elses problem that you can’t handle a Deadmines run because you’re tired of getting it and they don’t even take that long to do.
Sounds like you’re wasting your time more by not doing them than actually doing them.
Dude thinks that PVP gear is good for PVE so really does it surprise you that his brain thinks that 99% of the base population wants and it is an “amazing and popular feature”.
His whole roadshow he is doing here reminds me of that certain person who loves to be the center of attention and think everything they do is “great”, “the best”, “amazing”. It is delusional at best.
As pointed out the Blacklist feature doesn’t change Random Que. It just maximizes the player experience. When Blacklisting was in game for Random BGs they were still Random BGs. Nothing changed except a better player experience.
I have no choice though. I’m not doing that Dungeon and I need to use Random Que. This has been covered many times. The only option is for players to leave which then means the other players have to wait for refilling. Then these players also don’t want to do Deadmines and also leave. It’s a cycle we can break with Blacklisting improving gameplay for everyone involved.
They have no rewards. We are Queing for Random because we need Valor. There is no point in Queing for a specific dungeon. Again this has been covered in great detail all through this thread.
Nope, I don’t care if the deserter was a 1 month suspencion. I’d still leave. I can just play a different game during that time maximizing my fun. Games are about having fun. When players get Deadmines or SotA BG they are going to leave. Nothing is worse than doing them.
The second you can blacklist something it’s no longer random queue even if it’s still within a pool of dungeons. If you want to do that use LFD and tick everything but Deadmines.
Yes you do, you choosing to leave a Deadmines run is you choosing to be selfish, causing those who got into your group to either languish in annoyance while they waste their time finding a tank who’ll actually run it or just leave and also cop the 30min deserter timer. All because you couldn’t be bothered to spend ~20min in a dungeon you consider bad.
Anytime someone like you who comes around, that being someone who instantly leaves the instance group because it’s DM, VP, HoO, etc. the tank that comes after ALWAYS stays. You thinking it’s an infinite cycle of people joining and leaving is a lie you’ve made up to make yourself feel justified in leaving dungeon groups.
Then suck it up and deal with it, you don’t like Deadmines, I don’t like doing Grim Batol but you wouldn’t see me leaving just because I got it. Don’t make it everyone elses problem that you can’t handle a Deadmines run, something that doesn’t even take that long.
What about Deadmines is bad? The trash is easy, the bosses are easy, the gauntlet is easy so what are you struggling on? Also the tank sets the pace that the dungeon goes, so if you’re the tank and you’re saying that it takes too long then that’s your own fault.
can get behind this. I’d rather not do deadmines or grim batol again. Despite being much faster people insist in doing the damn drakes everytime, and will die to some dumb boss mechanic from first or second boss.
Yes it is still random, 1 out of 9 instead of 1 out of 10 is random.
And sure That would be a totally fine solution if we got the dungeon reward for doing that.
You’re confusing long and annoying with hard. For example Vancleef is one of the worst boss fights I’ve ever done in WoW and it’s stupidly long. Comparing to say Ozruk which is also an obnoxious fight but is at least over quickly.
This is factually wrong. It also has happened. We have enjoyed Blacklisting before in Random Que.
Wrong. Why do I or any other player have to suffer because of bad design. No thanks can just leave and play another game while on deserter if the Devs can’t fix this one.
Nope not true. I’ve done Deadmines before took 10+ people. Same for Strands in BGs people leave it gets filled then those people leave because 99% of the players DON’T WANT TO DO IT.
No it’s a game. I don’t have to deal with it. The game should be fun and fix bad issues or we can enjoy other games or do something else.
Deal with it? What is actually wrong with you. We don’t have to deal with anything nor should we in a video game.
His whole roadshow is just being a troll.
You are arguing with a wall and catering to exactly what he wants… to stir up nonsense.
His take is usually garbage so just consider the source (along with his rotating alts - which are not hard to figure out who they are).
