Gear based game. The reason why people play WoW is to get Powerful gear and own up PvP. If gear doesn’t matter no reason to play the game and it’s not an RPG anymore.

Balancing the fun right out of the game gets us nowhere and leaves us with a game that is boring and not worth playing. Take Legion Templates for example. Everyone hated Templates because it removed the RPG aspects of the game. The Devs said they were a mistake and they were removed.

The most important thing in this game is the RPG aspects, power from gear and Class fantasy. This leads to the most fun and why people are PvPing.

Most PvPers rather they remove Arena then try to balance for it by removing RPG aspects/gear. The only big mistake they made with PvP in WoW was trying Esports.

The point of the game is to have a gear advantage over your opponent. It’s literally why we log in and prefer gear based PvP. Attaining great power then owning it up is what makes gear based PvP the best and most TRUE form of PvP.

Objective maps

While objective maps are fun people fight on the roads or where the big battles are because they are trying to get ontop of the scoreboard with KBs and HK’s. You are trying to farm kills that’s how you win. It’s the main point of the BG.

When the BG ends what matters for most PvP players is their personal performance on the score board, Damage done, KBs, HKs etc. That’s how winning in done. Also another reason why we want Solo Que because we want organic PvP for our personal performances.
