But if you think a sudden, immediate, massive spike or drop in prices is indicative of how the prices might look 6 months from now…maybe instead of repeatedly calling me an idiot who knows nothing about economics, perhaps you should go look in a mirror.
But that was never my point anyway. I was saying this does nothing to diminish bot farming of black lotus. Now obviously the Blue post never claimed that was the goal, but some people assumed it. Blizz simply wants to flood the market with black lotus. But that black lotus will continue to be farmed and sold by bots. They’ll just farm even more of it. Hence: the bots win. They always do.

black lotus, if sold by bots, is bought out instantly by players and resold at a ceiling.

I feel like certain posters wanting me to leave because I point out their hypocrisy or their bad logic means I’m performing my task well. 
I feel like this isn’t the solution to Black Lotus… the better solution would have been a reagent from the vendor. Way to make the bots even more wealthy…

This is far more pronounced with the Boosting economy. So much so, that sometimes the booster will offer a direct USD/boost trade because it’s much easier to just eliminate the noise in between.
It just means the bots will acquire more frequent flyer miles.

Yep, and while true the price will probably go down, the farmers/bots can make more money.
Not a great solution. Just make the black lotus meaningless…make it a random drop on any high level herb. Also sort of cool if you dont ban bots EVERY 3 MONTHS and actually monitor your game and get rid of them real time.
