except they don’t wanna manage more servers, as servers cost cash and maintenance and classic is meant to be a low-maintenance deal.
“More severs, lower pop cap” is a a solution of blizzard wanted to spend more money on classic.
However it’s not the solution they want.
Thank you Blizzard for giving me something genuinely positive to post about. I think the increased server populations has had a negative effect on many open world resoiurces, it was just most visibly bad when it came to Black Lotus. You might want to keep an eye on Plaguebloom and Mountain Silversage too, to name a few.

Within an hour the supply of lotus on the Kromcrush AH jumped to 133 … there had never been more than 77 on the AH at any time since launch. The mafia tears are real.

Except … u know, you didn’t have to go to a low pop server to find lotus in vanilla.
What server did you play on? Even in Vanilla in a relatively low/medium pop server Ive never found a black lotus.
are they still only going to spawn one at a time? or will there be multiple up at one time?
I played on lightnings blade, one of the first and high pop server. I doubt you even played vanilla if you claim to have searched and never found one then.

Bro. You cant use the whole “you didnt play vanilla” thing on me. If you want to troll like that at least do it properly. Again rank 13 title on a lvl 82. That impossible unless it was a vanilla character
I don’t get this. Blizzard almost always does respond to player complaints. They almost always give us what we want. Retail today is what it is due to player feedback.
So why do you guys pretend like this is a rare, never before seen thing? Then after all this “thanking”, you’ll turn around and complain about something else and pretend like blizzard never listens to feedback.

So instead of getting rid of the bots/gold sellers, and fixing multiboxing so they can’t stay at every node location 24/7, you just create another spawn? I guess in terms of you guys making more money it works, if you got rid of the multiboxers and botters you’d lose LOTS of sub money, so this was the go around.

Yea it only took them 8 month to adress this obvious problem! Same for the launch where it took them a day in my timezone for other servers to launch when the only two servers had a 10hr q hours before the launch.

If the problem is gold sellers/botters camping spawns, just get rid of the botters. ITs very easy to know which ones are camped by ghosts.
If it’s because of black lotus per capita, then blizzard can just reduce max server sizes.
The immediate solution isnt to just break the game lol

They get rid of the bots and gold sellers indirectly by making it less lucrative to farm. Seeing the AH on all servers flooded with black lotus within the past two hours is testament to the effectiveness of this solution.
Black lotus prices are crashing, making it less lucrative, making it more accessible to the average player. The incentive to camp it as well as the ability to camp it is plummeting.
