There’s no point in suggesting this as a solution because it’s simply too late. This is a workaround for an unfixable problem that was introduced at launch.
Alright, you heard him, back down to the original server sizes, enjoy your 8 hour queues, and free transfers to lower pop realms
Well, if everyone transfers to low pop realms, then they dont stay low pop then do they?
If I see a queue of say… 5000, all those people in queue could almost just fill up a server by themselves
Black lotus exploiters are full seethe, all the players that exploited the first month with layering also BTFO.

It’s a good point, but I have 0. I don’t have any and I’m not financially invested.
I’m concerned about the philosophy. This sets the stage that it’s ok to make changes to spawn rates of anything to meet an arbitrary goal.
The reason #nochanges was a thing in the first place wasn’t because the game was perfect. It was because Blizzard is not competent enough to make the correct changes.
This change helps me. It will help me clear AQ and Naxx easier and get better gear. You can like something as a player, but also dislike it at the same time from a game design point of view.
I don’t think increasing the spawn rate is good for the overall health of the game.
I also don’t think level 1 characters should be able to see nodes when they’re dead. So I agree with half of these changes. It’s just the spawn rate issue. Because on my server (which is high pop) it will help me a lot because prices are just so high right now, but on low pop servers it’s going to drive prices to the ground.
And what’s the going to do? Well it could cause low pop servers to get cheap access to these potions which means everyone will be using them in pvp. So only low pop will be able to afford them. This is extremely bad.
So then do we reduce the spawn rate on their server? Probably.
Ok now we have dynamic respawns.
Ouch…

It’s one thing to be happy about affordable flasks.
It’s another to gloat and be spiteful at people who were doing nothing wrong by anyone standards except your own.
Is it just me, or are most people here more excited about other players “getting theirs” rather than actually having healthier lotus spawns?

Now let’s do something about the premade problem and classic will be moving in the right direction. Premade should look for other premades first during queue, only after X amount of minutes should it eventually widen its search for pugs. You can also put a limit on what would count as a premade, like anything above 5 players queuing together would be a premade, 5 or less would still queue against pugs.
World buffs are what make raiding so easy atm. With aq40 and naxx prog wbuffs will not be as available. Flasks are gonna be very helpful. Great change
It does matter. The vast majority of the player base is unsatisfied and a small amount of botters and no lifers are exploiting the player base. It is unreasonable to need to farm 5 hours to afford 1 black lotus.
Another issue that is seriously annoying are all the spams that wind up in our mailboxes every day… even every hour, from gold sellers.

Well world buffs existed back then to. It’s just that the utilization of it is VERY different. This again goes back to the design philosphy of “Classic” and why we shouldnt make these changes as it will set a precedent.
Again, I dont really care about the whole “seeing lotus as a ghost” thing. I DO care about the actual spawn rate. Since blizzard is already removing ghosts being able to see the lotus, that already deters botters. We dont need to increase the spawn rate if players “naturally” find and list black lotus
