(1) The numbers crunch - I do realize numbers were getting massive no thanks to blizz going overboard in the numbers we were hitting in panda back then. However, the way numbers work today just makes leveling and gearing up having no purpose when you're doing the same amount of damage as a 120 as you would say a level 12 or level 25? I mean, what's the point of leveling or grinding for gear if you feel no difference? Why didn't blizz just crunch the numbers for panda, not make you feel like a level 85, but make you feel like a level 89 instead, then do a level cap at 100 and make gearing up the focus of grinding again to get minor power increases with each new expansion
(2) The Loot system is trash - there something i never understood about the new loot system, the loot system is predetermined by class and spec right? then why is it that a mail wearing hunter can get a pally plated chest and the pally never gets it, but the pally only loots dps gear when they're trying to get tanking gear? I give this strong advice to blizz. STOP IT! if you want to fix the loot system, how about keeping need for greed, but make loot rolls unavailable to loot drops that's not for your class or spec, and make it unavailable if you already have that piece of gear already equipped or have more powerful gear for that slotted gear? the state of loot today is basically loot for all kind of thing, if you're not first to loot, then you're not getting that chance to get that loot drop, it's not just annoying, it's impossible

No it's because we still don't have playable Vulpera.

Meh neither of those reasons are why people leave.
People leave because they lack the incentive to keep playing. In short: the game is too easy

1) I'm in different to. I'll be more powerful at the end of the xpac like i was in mop and onward.
2) what? Hunters getting plate? What? As for the pally not getting tanking gears... Switch the spec to Prot easy problem... Easy solution.

RaiderIO is the ONLY thing propping M+ up.
Without it pugging would be a nightmare and people would just stop doing them.
There's so many actual gameplay issues with BFA that make it utterly unfun and bad. Real mechanics that effect how you gear and play your character that are failing. You really think people are leaving in droves over your pet issue about how high or low the damage numbers are?
We're leaving for a lot of reasons but I highly doubt that's very high on many peoples' lists of priorities.

We all dislike it for all kinds of reasons none of those that you mentioned really falls into my ballpark. I'm just really bored because I feel like there is nothing meaningful to do.

The contempt Blizzard has shown toward their customers since the beginning of Draenor, and the resulting strange decision making, just might have contributed to general disaffection with WoW.

If your post was a research paper:
The first thing the teacher does is veto your thesis, if it isn't a fact.
So they'd say, "But you don't prove that people are leaving in droves? INVALID, try again."

so you agree then, that gearing up isn't meaningful anymore?11/10/2018 10:41 AMPosted by KwashiorkorWe all dislike it for all kinds of reasons none of those that you mentioned really falls into my ballpark. I'm just really bored because I feel like there is nothing meaningful to do.

No.
The game has declined to the point where a number of factors have combined to make it not fun.
When a game feels more like a chore than entertainment, it's time to leave.
I have very high hopes that WoW will one day again, be fun.

I'm still of the opinion that people are leaving the game because, no matter how much content they throw at us, most classes feel like garbage to play and are so homogenous that you can use the same keybinding scheme for most classes.
Everything is too slow and too boring. It's not even the number of abilities - it's the lack of unique utility and the unpleasant delay in reaction time.
Like, The Witcher has two basic melee attack buttons, but the combat is far more engaging because you have to make decisions and react quickly. You have to match your abilities to the opponent - Do you stun them? Are they weak to fire? Maybe they need to be contained in a magical trap to even hit them?
The only time you have anything like that in WoW is in PvP, and the GCD makes it that much more frustrating to engage in. It's like two people playing rock'em sock'em robots with a time delay.

Giving you an advice. Posting in GD is useless. Your points have been repeated over and over and will never be heard.
As for personal loot, it's very misleading. Personal loot would have meant there is a chance more than 1 person gets a loot since they each roll for a gear from the boss. And if lucky, they get a loot. But it's still the same as before, boss dies, it drops a single loot, except all classes that can need rolls need on it in the background and goes straight to winner's inventory. This is worse than someone needing on everything because they're a douche.
